Sites like Expedia, hotels.com, Travelocity, etc, have made trip planning so simple, that the need for a travel agent was lost to me, but the girls wanted to outsource...so we did...BIG MISTAKE. Jayna was more of a headache than anything else. The biggest issues with Janya is that getting in touch with her is a chore. Email, phone calls, smoke signals...try whatever you have to...I'm sure she'll get back to you in a few days, weeks, or whenever she feels like it. Our first indication that our travel agent lacked some basic booking skills came very early on. We wrote off some her minor errors like getting the dates of our trip wrong in her initial email and her suggestion that we stay in a less than ideal hotel (read: unsavory motel). But we really got annoyed when she quoted us flights that were inflated by $250 more than the flights we were able to book on our own - same airport, same airline, same ticket class. When we returned from the trip, Jayna wrote us specifically asking that we write her Yelp reviews offering "constructive criticism" of her services so she could improve. Bold. I admire and respect her willingness to improve. Some years have passed since we booked with her and I hope she has improved her business. Based on the sloppy service we received, I can't cosign.

We stayed for 6 days/5 nights in the Mullins Bay Villas from July 19-24, 2015. Jayna communicated with us thoroughly - daily - until we left for our trip to make sure we had all the details, contact persons, and everything lined up with our expectations. She promptly followed up after the trip, as well, to make sure everything was up to our standards. The villa was downright phenomenal with all the latest travertine floors, glass showers, AC, fantastic kitchen, outdoor patio, private pool, etc. The cook -- Ms. Marva -- was AWESOME SAUCE. She can throw down in the kitchen!!! The location was perfect, not far from shopping and a little nightlife! I don't think it could have gone any better, unless we opted to stay a little longer. She arranged airport transportation, food, activities and of course our stay. Seriously, if we had've stayed anywhere else, I'm not sure how happy we would've been! From trying to arrange a hotel on our own, we would've been greatly disappointed. I can say for a fact that some of the places we researched on our own, were in no great shape when we passed by them on the way to Mullins Bay! Seriously, use Jayna! Don't try to book anything on your own. So THANK YOU again from all of us for ALL your help! It's greatly appreciated! When we went to make an appointment they where completely booked and recommend us to go to New Orleans to get my partners passport. Of course that was not realistic or possible so after some research I found Michael's agency. Not only was he so friendly but I could tell just from our phone conversation he was on his shit. Now two days before departure I picked up the passport and I'm thrilled. He is absolutely amazing and will get any job done even in a crunch of time.
