Things like helping me navigate information being thrown at me at medical appointments, being able to ask clarifying questions about what was evidence-based and what was intending to induce fear. Things like top-tier leg massages during labor and in postpartum. Things like being a baby magician, and an amazing chef! She proceeded to conduct the rest of the tour in a very unprofessional manner acting very intentionally rude for someone simply not having a good impression from working with one of her employees. After my daughter had been enrolled and several phone calls throughout the day to finalize the process she called me and said she had decided to change her mind stating "this is a family daycare and you are not a good fit for us ". She heavily discriminates against single households as well as young mothers. She gave strong insinuations about my morals and principles being a reason my child could not be enrolled speaking as though i should be disgraced for my family because it did not fit her guidelines as "this is a FAMILY daycare." Maam my child very much well should not be treated differently because of your uncomfortable nature with young or single moms! Very gross unprofessional behavior that has left a scar over several months. The employee i worked previously with was Abagail. Overall very relieved my daughter did not end up enrolled here given the nature of the director and questionable morals.

I have taken her infant massage class, had an in house coaching (baby proofing) and have used her online coaching (lifesaver for a family on the go). Orly and I took her infant massage class. I learned about baby wearing, bonding and infant massage just to name a few things. This technique helped me bond with Orly - we created a nightly routine that involved 20 minutes of massage. It helped her become aware of her body at such a young age and started us on a wonderful wind down routine. I have used different strokes when she was sick, teething, after shots and many other applications. I was very nervous that once Orly started moving that my house would look like a toddlers paradise. Rachel came over and we went through each room talking about the safety issues and what we could do to maintain our space and let Orly have space in it. I feel very confident that Orly is welcome and a part of my home. She is safe and have lots of learning opportunities (barstools, fish tank, and having safe kitchen tools in places she can access. I received some feedback about sleep and naps that left me feeling unsupported. I immediately knew that my intuition was telling me that Orly needed something different than was suggested. I signed up for coaching with Rachel. She listened and gave me gentle hints that aligned with the kind of parent I want to be. Overall Rachel has helped give me the confidence and tools to be the parent I want to be. I can't thank her enough.
