Food was excellent. Covid protocols were awful. Staff did not check vaccination passports despite restaurant being 80% full. Staff serving food and walking around wore their masks under their nose, under their chin, or no mask at all. Multiple friends/customers visited staff, collected their take out orders and never wore a mask during their entire visit. Won't be back as we did not feel safe. Outstanding! If you want authentic , homemade, and delicious then please try this! Since Nick took over the restaurant recently it has been amazing. The place is so fun to dine in as well but you won't find better take out! How can you even have such a thing as a VEGAN plate when you don't know what it is?! To be clear: NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS: no cheese, milk, dairy of any kind, no egg, no chicken broth, no meat of any kind!!! The waiter put FETA CHEESE in the Greek Salad, gave me chicken lemon rice soup, then presented me with a plate of canned beans, pita, roasted potatoes, rice, Dolmandes, and a potato pastry. So I ask how everything is made. THEY COOK RICE WITH CHICKEN BROTH AND USE EGG TO PUT THE PASTRY LAYERS TOGETHER. I didn't even get to the Dolmandes. Not only was the service good, but I was very happy with the size of their menu. They even had a vegan platter, which was awesome. Its very difficult to eat out as a vegan, and I usually have to settle for a vegetarian meal. And even that is difficult at a lot of restaurants. My boyfriend had the beef souvlaki and our friend had the Greek chicken dinner. All our food was excellent and we all took food home because our plates were quite large. These people know how to cook a lamb. We had the lamb ribs and the lamb wrap. Both were different and excellent. Salad was very fresh. Rice and the beef orzo soup were uninspired...but who cares. Was there with my family on a Tuesday evening back in March and the place was empty. We expected that the food would be good, fresh and authentically Greek. It was not to be. Some of the dishes we ordered tasted stale and microwaved. The Greek potatoes were still cold in their centers and lacked flavor. The pita bread was good as was the Greek salad. The lemon, chicken & rice soup was also tasty but the chicken skewers were dry and tasteless, too small portions and certainly not worth the price of $22 even with the soup and salad included. I've had much better Greek cuisine at better prices. The service was excellent though. Sara was very attentive, sweet and helped smooth everything out for us. What can I say? Good service, but not particularly good food. High-end prices for a greasy spoon diner experience. We likely won't be back. read more

Love this place- just thinking of the spanakopita makes my mouth water! The staff is very friendly and if you're lucky enough to be there in a Friday evening you can see the belly dancers! I had a take out lunch from "it's all Greek to me." Pros The inside of the restaurant had a nice charm ( I was only there to pick up my food). It was inexpensive. The server was very nice. I was given a complimentary soup. The food itself was ok. The Greek salad is not a true Greek salad. It had Italian dressing and lots of lettuce. Way too much dressing. Small bits of veggie. I had the lamb wrap. It was reasonably good. There was a lot of rice with my dish. It was fried with way to much oil. I think the food would have been as tasty with much less oil. The Greek lemon potatoes were good. Interestingly, I've never actually seen these in Greece. I wonder it its a Canadian-Greece thing? Overall- for what you pay- its fair. But if they just used less oil, it would be better. Also- lose the lettuce in a Greek salad. It needs large chunks of quality feta and ripe tomatoes. read more

I have to say off the bat, Greek is not one of my favorite foods. The service at the restaurant was very good. The waiter was pleasant and friendly and got our drinks quickly. I had the Lamb shank and the portions are huge! A big piece of lamb; soup and salad to start; Greek potatos and rice. Glad I didn't order appetizers because that would have been to much! Also never had desert due to being full. The lamb was prepared well and tasted good. Everyone enjoyed the lemon chicken and rice soup. Overall a good place to go and it probably would have gotten a higher rating if I enjoyed Greek food more. Also you can break plates if you are so inclined! read more

Ordered saganaki and calamari to start, both were average at best. The calamari wasn't crispy at all. The saganaki didn't taste great and they don't even give you pita with it, had to order it separately. Main meals were chicken and lamb souvlaki. Both were great. The lamb especially was very good. Dish came with a sorry excuse for a Greek salad but the rice and lemon potatoes more than made up for that. They are very stingy on the tsatziki, had to order more for extra $. It was more like a kids size tsatziki in an otherwise large plate of souvlaki. Overall the mains were great, the appetizers were average at best. They sure could increase their standard tsatziki portions. read more

I've eating Greek food all over the world. I came to Red Deer visiting from out of town. This place had the best reviews. I ordered a lot of food to try everything. The Dolmathes were very good. Some of the appetizers were good. The Calamari and Kefthedes were not very good. For my main course I ordered the lamb shank. It was the worst lamb shank I'd ever had. Chewy, overcooked, and seasoned poorly it was inedible. I sent it back. They told me all the shanks had been cooked that way. They gave me some chicken breast instead. The chicken breast was better but was still below average tasting. The rice (something I've never seen a restaurant screw up) was the worst rice I've tasted at a restaurant, Greek or not. It's like they put paprika or some strange seasoning in it. I had dessert and the dessert was good. The service was decent and the ambience was fine. But overall this is some of the worst Greek food I've ever had. Especially the lamb shank. I would suggest a trip into Edmonton or Calgary to get better Greek food if you have the hankering for it. I really wanted to like this place but that lamb shank will haunt me for the rest of my days. read more

To start off it was a Friday night and there was only one other table there. We ordered a saganaki to start and it was the worst we have ever had. It was something you could buy at Costco and do yourself at home. We then ordered the rack of lamb with prawns and the saganaki keftedes. He had the "caeser" salad and I had the Greek. Both had almost no dressing on them and were below mediocre. At this point we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled after she had came by the table three times and cleared dishes without asking if we would like another. Dinner came... the rice was blah and the potatoes were not even fully cooked. His rack of lamb was so well done to the point of being over dry that even tzatziki didn't help. What wasn't over done was extremely fatty. The portions were very small when it came to the meat as well. My Keftedes was probably the best and that is not saying much. It was over seasoned to the point I could not eat more than two. The tomato sauce was good I will give it that. All of this was made top notch by the service. She did not care that our meals were untouched. She did not answer the phone, she was "cleaning" tables and just not looking after her two tables what so ever. I come here all the time. It's the only place I go to for authentic Greek food. The staff is incredibly friendly, from the minute you walk in the atmosphere is very warm. And the food is delicious, I've only ever had one complaint and it was immediately fixed and was even given a free dessert for my "troubles" even though it was no trouble at all!
