Ashley, Danielle and Taylor at It's Just Lunch ("IJL") Milwaukee are THE BEST. This service is WORTH EVERY PENNY! I've tried ALL the dating apps for years. They are BS compared to this service. Not all IJL cities are the same. Milwaukee is "par excellence." With dating apps it can take 10 hours of swiping, chatting, talking on the phone to finally meet someone you think is legit only to wonder if their profile pic was 15 years old, airbrushed, modified or altered by their daughters' photo apps to the point where the real woman is now unrecognizable! IJL Milwaukee has set 5 dates for me and every one was a winner. No BS. The ladies I've met are high quality intelligent women with great careers, assets and interests. It's Just Lunch has been wonderful to work with, Ashley and Camille really get to know you as a person and try to match you with someone with similar interests. Aligning schedules is a breeze for dates. Venues selected have been very nice. Being recently widowed and not been in the dating scene for 20+ years IJL has made the experience exciting and fun. I tried a few dating apps and most people lie or make false profiles, bait n switch, or are bots. I've been on 4 dates so far and meet some really nice women. I recently joined IJL and I'm really in the baby steps of the process. But I can tell you right now that I am really enjoying it because of Ashley, Taylor, and Camille. They really care about you as an individual and have treated me with such care and respect. They work hard and want to find the perfect person and relationship for their clients. I am open minded. I see the monthly date as another opportunity to try to find a long term relationship. It is a much better than online dating honestly. I previously provided a 1 star rating and was disappointed in both the matches and staff. I agreed to give it one more shot, and have met 2 well matched wonderful men and the staff has been much more attentive and responsive. The "misses " were big misses, but I'm very pleased with the two hits. Both are a much higher quality than the traditional dating websites ever provided. I started IJL earlier this year. I have been on 5 or 6 dates and not even close to any kind of match. I paid 4500.00 definitely not worth the time and money. The offered me the ELITE package of 20,000 to 30,000 dollars- I said, "no thank you". I asked the dates if they too were offered the ELITE package- and they were. I would hope people read my message and think again before starting with IJL. I had about three weeks on my contract and left early- I could not continue - such a waste. read more

I was at the Madison location, but they chose to use the Milwaukee location to try to find dates and didn't respect or honor my dealbreaker requests on even the most basic search criteria, like religion. When they were unable to honor what they offered, they refused to provide a refund. read more

I did have several conversations with the IJL team about my experience, expectations and level of service. From my experience, it felt as though I was being passed from person to person, I had to tell my preferences to four different people. I was a little surprised they were not included on my profile. Again, my perspective it just seemed like there was very little interest in helping me. When I spoke with the dates I was matched with, their interactions with the team seemed more fun and personal. I did appreciate not having to swipe through endless profiles. The matches were all nice but after match 2,3 &4, I couldn't understand why they selected them. Match 1, 2, &3 basically looked exactly the same, and match 4 was a miss on my preferences. Maybe this service will work for some women and men but it didn't work for me. I cancelled my subscription after a few short months and it's very disappointing. I really hoped this would be a positive experience but it fell short of what Camille told me to execution is services. read more

Buyer Beware! I paid a $2,300 membership fee in June, plus an additional $95: month and was introduced to four women from The end of June through the end of October. Only one out of the four were within an hour drive of me in Green Bay. I was told verbally by Jade that there were plenty of candidates in my area. There were not! They did offer not to charge me t to GE monthly fee for a while, but I declined in order to cut my losses, save my time, and try the old-fashioned way. However, paying a lot of money for a dating service up front for 6 months and NOT getting the quality service you paid for is frustrating. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality and quantity of members, and the responsiveness of the staff. I've been a member for 9 weeks and have only been presented with 4 members. The first was horrendous, one was a nice guy and we met twice before determining we weren't a match, and the other two were painfully introverted and the zoom calls were short and awkward. I have always had to call to provide feedback vs them checking in as stated. I was heavily recruited, and now feel ghosted. It seems that the staff spends all their time recruiting vs matchmaking. I regret paying as much as I did. I was not impressed by the six dates I went on in a month and a half. Yes, I could have given it more time but I put my account on hold (a $30/mo. charge to do so) and after much better meet ups with online dating I decided to cancel my IJL membership three months later. I suspect there isn't a good inventory of men for them to work with in the MKE area, and I do not believe they reach out to members on hold status should a suitable match arise. When my membership was on hold I would have gladly changed my status and paid the extra rate/mo if they called me and said "we found a great match for you". It seems like once you join you become a statistic; I didn't find there was any bit of a personalized experience as one would expect with this kind of service. I am very disappointed. After paying a lot of money and an lengthy interview I got like 8 dates, all extremely far from what I told them. They kept saying that they were testing and after few minths I received a call letting me know that the subscription was over and if I wanted to renew it. Lol I highly not recommend this website. I have relied on IJL to provide high-quality introductions, which have been screened to ensure professionalism, personal success, financial stability, and optimism towards love and life. Emily, Anna and Ari have been lovely to work with. They have connected me with the most compatible clients using their intuition and an in-depth understanding of my relationship goals. Even if they haven't introduced me to "The One" yet, they have still created memorable dating experiences throughout this adventure. If you don't have patience or optimism, IJL is not for you. I went into this journey knowing I needed to be open. I say "open" but by no means does this translate to conceding (Emily and Anna can attest). My list of qualifications--emotionally experienced and financially stable with the same depth and fulfillment needs in a relationship--are not easy qualifications to find from one person in the Milwaukee area. If it was possible to give 0.5 stars, I would I tried this service out because I wanted to settle down at point and it seemed better than trying to browse through thousands of profiles on other dating sites. But I don't know if I have anything good to say about the service. It almost felt like after the first meeting, they pressure you into signing up with them. After that, They did stay in contact with me and set me up with several men who kind of fit the bill of what I wanted not totally. They even had me driving out to Johnson Creek from Milwaukee to meet with someone for like an hour..... I called to cancel after several months because I met someone figuring that they would stop calling me but they don't. They keep on calling every once in a while even when I told them I've met someone and wasn't interested in using the service. They didn't even stop when I told them I was engaged and was going to get married (they even called like 1.5 months before my wedding). Seriously? I cannot warn people enough to stay away from this dating service. First, they will work very hard to get you to sign a contract. I got calls numerous times daily for about 2 weeks, urging me to come in and sign up. I finally went in to meet the gal who'd been inundating me with calls (I incorrectly assumed she'd work that hard for me once I signed up). The meeting was short and consisted of me circling things like "I like to go camping." Once we were done with the meeting, she basically regurgitated the exact qualities I said I wanted and said she had that man as a potential date right now. I took the bait....... ...then came the switch. I got set up on 2 dates initially, neither of which was my type. Worse, they actually possessed qualities I specifically said I did *not* want. But the fact remains, neither was the guy she said she had in mind for me when she was selling me the service. It's been 8 months since then and I've had only 2 other dates. (They don't call me as much as they did *before* I signed the contract.) The third was 5 years older than the max age I gave them. The fourth was actually ok, but we spent the whole date complaining about how terrible IJL is so we didn't really get to know one another all that well ;) I'm sure they just match me with whatever guy they have in their inventory. My biggest concern, which I stated to them in very clear terms, was that they didn't have an inventory of men big enough to ensure I'd find my match. They alleviated those concerns ten-fold. Went so far as to say they have "1000s" of men to choose from. Don't believe it! DO NOT fall for their sales tactics. Do yourself a favor and read the comments on the Chicago Yelp site for IJL. I wish I had. I'd still have that $1,400 in my pocket... or a much better experience to share instead. This was the WORST money I've ever spent. Well it's been over 4 months since I paid for the service and a monthly fee. 4 dates of which only one came close to fitting the criteria of what I asked for before I signed up. I asked if they had a lot of women available and looking for dates. I was assured that there were a lot of female members who fit my criteria. Not. It was a big lie. I've also had 3 ghost dates. Two canceled while I was driving to meet them and one 3 days before. I'm 55 years old. It shouldn't be this hard to find a date. Save your money. It's a big scam. Whoever they "matched" me up ended up cancelling on me hours if not a couple days before. I signed up because I am a busy working professional that doesn't have the time for online dating. Company advertised with a more established and elite dating service with high-class clients. I don't know how other professionals are, but once I have you in my calendar, you are in my calendar.
