In the waiting room is a TV that rotates various health advertisements. Other than that, most you'll hear is a some conversation & the sound of fax/copying machines. WAIT TIME: Appointment was set for 3:00 PM. Guided to Exam Room 1 at 3:06 PM. Doctor walked into room at 3:28 PM. Left appointment at 3:39 PM. Honestly very quick work given he has other patients. I appreciate that he communicates his thought process well & has a sense of urgency with his patients. SEATING: Plenty of seating in the Waiting Room. Seating room is shared between internal medicine and the Patel dental clinic. Exam rooms also have wheelable stool (for the doctor), wall chair, and an exam table.

I had an annual exam that is all 100% free and he some how managed to mess that up by coding it incorrectly and getting charged for preventative labs. Most people see Dr. Yury because of his hormone therapy. He understands hormones and hormone…read morereplacement. I have never needed this though. The main reason I have seen him in the past is because he has been willing to call in prescriptions for me when I am unavailable to come in and need something on an emergency basis, the office's willingness to fit me in on a moment's notice, and that when I am sick, he gives a shot of celeston to make me feel better instantly plus the antibiotic. Well, his bedside manner, in a lack of better words, sucks. You go into his office and meet with him. He barely looks at you and is hardly congenial. You feel like you almost inconvenience him by being there. He has a T-shirt on the back of his door that says, "I'm not a gynecologist but would love to take a look." Is that really appropriate? He used to refill prescriptions without hassle, especially since he knew I wasn't abusing them. My pharmacy called him up to request the refill extension and he denied it. He has said that he gives prescriptions to people he knows are drug addicts because it's safer for him to write the prescription than to buy it on the streets. Are you kidding? Yet you deny my prescription? If you need hormone treatment, then see Dr. Yury. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Dr. Yury is around 83(?) years old and the best we've found at what he does. Been seeing him for 3 years and he knows his stuff, is always attending continuing education seminars, etc. Doesn't sugar coat his info. He doesn't examine you - it's done at his desk. Basically does history, blood test results, feedback as you progress on your plan. Actually takes insurance - yes! Have paid out of pocket for some other people just to see if they had more insights, etc., but didn't provide anything more than what Dr. Yury had already said. He is quick to get you in and will do anything possible for you if you have an urgent need. He takes the time you need (sometimes really long and sometimes super quick) rather than a set amount to get to another patient. He has a direct line to the pharmacy and they will do whatever he says. Has his own blood draw lab in the office that also takes insurance so no need to wait in long Quest lines. Also has lots of supplements, vitamins, etc. Was leery at first that they wanted to sell me a bunch of stuff, but he's only recommended items 2-3 times over 3 years and they don't seem to really mind if you choose to get it elsewhere. Free parking, although get there 10 min early to get a spot and walk in. Highly recommend if you want an anti-aging/hormone MD (for men or women), particularly one who takes insurance.

Being my first time in treatment, I didn't know what to expect or what I had committed myself to but, Lighthouse was there for me every step of the way. From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. They treated me with compassion, understanding and operated within God's grace while taking care of me every step of the way. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Thank you so much for church, gym, yoga, offsite meetings and all the extras like game night and movie night. It was the first time I had done (or was able to do) any of those things sober in YEARS. Thank you so much for the clinical groups, motivational speakers and panels. It opened my eyes to a difference in perspective and understanding when it came to addiction and how much people need to be loved. Truly humbling. A special thank you to Tyler and Teresa for doing such a great job at the facility. Between staff and taking a look around, it really does show how much they care about what they do. Thank you to everyone at intake, the front office and administration. With all your patience and calm demeanors, you make it look easy. Shout out to kitchen staff for all their hard work and making sure everyone there was always well fed (miss the food for sure). Taco Tuesdays were the best! Thank you to the nurses and doctors. You always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. When it comes to staff, it's extremely difficult for me to pick favorites. They are ALL great. It's apparent that going above and beyond is their standard mode of operation. With that being said... Special thanks to: *Candice. The most bad a$$, straight forward, sweetest person I've ever met. Thank you for your honesty, positivity, caring and being straightforward about everything. *Edmund. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and wisdom when it came to the reality of dealing with real life circumstances. *Mike! FAFO, don't be late! Thank you for the discipline you incorporated into the program and showing how much you cared that we all succeeded. *Austin. Thank you for being so down to earth and taking the awkwardness out of being honest about addiction. I'll never forget the game "In My Addiction." It shined new light on how I wasn't alone in the struggle and helped me to be more open about myself. *Alfonso. Thank you so much for having those real, heart to heart conversations with myself and the group, sharing how the dynamics of our behavior shapes our habits which influences our lives (no loitering!). *Joey. Thank you for all your encouraging, compassionate declamations amongst the groups showing kindness is alive and well. *Rob. Thank you for your constant, positively radiant attitude and the diligence you incorporate into all you do. *Kaylee. Honestly, thanks for being awesome with everything and everyone. *Liz. Sooooo good. Thank you for educating me on my blood pressure and the importance of the numbers and what they signify. Your energy was always fun to be around. *Ronnie. Thank you for always trying to help a brotha' out. *Timmy. Thank you for your patience with me while making sure I was taken care of in detox. *Paddy. Thank you so much for your sweet, caring demeanor and the encouragement you gave me in detox. Lighthouse was truly my home away from home. Their hearts are in everything they do. Thank you tremendously for everything. Keep up the great the work and God bless you. -Samuel Sa

I was on a path of self-destruction and was able to right myself towards a path of recovery wholly due to the care, compassion, counseling, therapy, and education imparted by the Lighthouse Leadership Team and Staff. This is a truly an exceptional program focused on a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. All facets crucial to a healthy and successful launch to recovery are carefully addressed, focused on restoring physical, mental, and emotional states of well-being. Physical health is carefully monitored and medical needs are addressed and met by a competent and compassionate medical team. In addition to 24 hour access to snacks and beverages, nutritional needs are met by an outstanding kitchen staff, where healthy, well-balanced, freshly prepared and delicious meals are provided three times a day. Psychological education essential to the recovery process is imparted by well-trained and empathetic personnel whose compassion and dedication is readily apparent from day one. Both a licensed counselor and therapist are personally assigned to each client for one-on-one weekly meetings, who also have an open door policy to effectively address any needs related to your treatment progress. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, providing comfortable accommodations and an overall environment conducive to a smooth and successful recovery. It is important to emphasize how critical and effective the Lighthouse Staff and Team were in launching me to an overall state of well-being, where the daily encountered challenges of life we are overcome with understanding, patience and compassion. These are the attributes I encountered from the staff during my treatment at the Lighthouse and I am proud to be an alumnus to carry on this tradition of a program that ultimately saved my life and paved the way for a happy and healthy future. I apologize in advance if I miss (or mispell) any names who were instrumental in my recovery and to whom I would like to express my deep gratitude: - Carlos : whose outstanding care and efficiency in the admission process went above and beyond expectations and who continues to perform at an extraordinary level as shown by his responsiveness to recent client admissions - Teresa : for the strong, inspirational and compassionate leadership which naturally commands respect and gratitude, ultimately resulting in the implementation of a successful treatment program - Jessica and Sochi : who warmly welcomed me to the program on day one - Delia and Eunice : who diligently and effectively addressed any medical needs with warmth and compassion - LaDonna, Julie, Stephanie, Paula and Linda : who always met me with a genuine smile and heartfelt interest in my well-being, as well as words of wisdom and support - Austin, Alfonso and Joey: whose sincere commitment to our recovery was expressed through interactions in the med room and leadership at group meetings - Jorge, Noah, Kay, Will and Robert: who provided moral support and fearlessly transported us to the gym, Walmart, outside meetings and critical appointments - Steve : who, with a beaming smile, effectively set-up needed outside appointments and transportation - Yesenia, Sonia, Lulu, Spencer, Sarah and Mario: whose heartfelt love and care was manifested in the scrumptious meals they so carefully prepared for us - Dana and Cup of Joe : whose attention and dedication to facility maintenance needs was readily apparent (and Joe's) deliciously strong coffee turbocharged our energy levels during treatment - Johnny : whose Psych Education classes were instrumental in reframing thought processes and were executed with the perfect balance of laughter and seriousness - Marlene : my well-respected therapist who so expertly and compassionately guided me to a path of psychological recovery - Candice : my counselor who is loved by all and has an impactful positive effect on those she guides Thank you to all the Lighthouse Staff all for your love and support.
