Candy

This place had such a nostalgic ambiance to it. All the candies I loved as a child but supersized ! Lol , it was a really fun experience . I didn't have any food service here and I don't recall engaging with staff but it was pretty self explanatory and signs were out . I loved the blue sour ropes and the cookies and cream malt balls . Delicious ! Be careful cause the bag fills up fast when you have a craving for sweets .

This new location just opened near the new Margaritaville Resort in Kissimmee. It's very bright and colorful which makes it very inviting. Not your typical candy shop as pretty much everything is themed to characters or TV and movies. This is much more of an adult candy shop, more than Willie Wonka's. They have boozy gummy bears, candy bras and undies and a whole line of snl inspired candy souvenirs. The prices for a typical bag of candy are a little high but this is a specialty shop. If I need a gag gift or a stocking stuffer this would be a place I would stop. Happy shopping!

Well, what we thought we had walked into was a novelty candy store with a few bits of modern candy thrown in. Apparently what we actually walked into was an anti-American political platform to persuade people to hate the very office or platform that works to bind this country together. Judging by the lack of business in this establishment I could say positively that we are not the only ones that feel this way. Wont harp on the subject and definitely won't be going back into that establishment again. I will say that the store was well lit, clean and the young lady behind the register was very nice.

Establishment exhibit some unusual types of candies (it's sugar & you know you want it) Don't recall seeing Chocolate covered candies described in these packaging. It's a sugary place with delightful staff.

Our 2nd time visiting and it's going to be the last. The cost was ridiculous. You are better going to a Walmart, Target or BJs.

Cute store. Highlight are the Gummy Bears in different cocktail flavors. The Cosmo is now my all time favorite gummy bear!

There are tons of selections of pralines, which of course my favorite is peacan, sweet and buttery which can be a little too sweet depending on your palate. The space is roomy, yet can get crowded on a busy day. Staff is friendly and ready to answer any question you may have. It's great seeing a candy store in the strip where you can fulfill your sweet cravings after a nice savory lunch or dinner.

That's when I spotted River Street Sweets and decided to check it out. Upon entering, I noticed the well-organized shop featured a vast array of chocolate covered treats neatly displayed in a large case. I looked at the small selection of ice cream and gelato flavors and asked one of the employees for a single scoop of pineapple gelato. There was no seating inside. Since I didn't want to go out into the humidity, I just stood inside and enjoyed my sweet treat. The texture of the gelato was incredibly smooth and creamy, and I could taste the distinct pineapple flavor in every bite. It was thoroughly enjoyable and did an exceptional job of cooling me down. NOTE: There is a 3% surcharge on credit card purchases.

They also sell citrus chewy candies, goat milk fudge, fruit wines, and various gift items. They have out samples which of course hooked us. The prices are similar to any gourmet candy shop and they had some unique finds. The ambiance? You are surrounded by delicious candy... what could be better? I grabbed a few things, the person helping me was friendly but didn't really know what was the chocolates they were selling. I asked for what looked like it was a light caramel chocolate covered pretzel and she said it was caramel however it was peanut butter. That was a bummer! They do have ice cream as well but it looks very processed and full of food coloring. The chocolate tasted decent compared to other chocolate shops. The pretzels were also fresh, I did grab white chocolate covered cashews and those tasted old. We got about maybe 5 chocolates for $8.00

Who doesn't love ice cream with a thick and creamy hot fudge and caramel sauce? (If that's you, I don't need to know!) There are a few "must-go" places when I am at my Saratoga Springs Disney "home" and this is one of them. Always sweet, always delicious and always worth the line-around-the-block wait! My favorite is a build-your-own sundae and my hubby loves the frozen hot chocolate. Both are 10/10 at the end of a hot, muggy Florida night walking and shop at the Springs. The new location is in the "bougie" section of the neighborhood, more convenient but smaller, and with a great view of the actual springs. Love in a cup!

We were honestly in sticker shock. Spending around $20 for an ice cream dessert was more than we could justify. I understand you're paying Disney prices, but this felt excessive. I'm sure the ice cream is delicious, but for us, the value just wasn't there. We decided to spend our money elsewhere and found other dessert options that fit our budget much better. If price isn't a concern, this may be worth a visit. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced sweet treat, I'd recommend exploring some of the other choices around Disney Springs instead. I just couldn't stomach that price unfortunately so we had to leave.
