My family and I went into this "boutique". We asked if she had any girl's underwear and she quickly…read moreretorted, "Sold out." as she just sat behind her sales counter. I asked if she had any girl's shorts like tumbling shorts. In a very rude way and as if to say she did not want us in her store, she replied "We don't sell ""those"" kinds of things. As soon as she said that we walked to the door to leave. There appeared to be a bunch of shorts on a shelf on our way out. I felt like the owner or salesperson (with actions as those, I would say owner) did not like the looks of us, wanted us out of her store. I have never had anyone treat us, a family, in such a rude, unprofessional way. We were happy to go spend $50 on underwear and $25 for a cute plush toy at The Beaufort Bonnet Co. just down the street. A larger, commercial chain store. They were ever so pleasant and happy to sell us underwear for our daughter. Sad that a small business owner would treat customers that come into her store this way. It was her loss and we will not be going back to her store but to this other store where they treat their customers well.

One jacket was too big when I tried it on him, so I removed the tag but kept it with me, along with the receipt. Since these are winter clothes and the size was clearly too large, I wouldn't be able to use them anytime soon. When I went to return the items, the sales associate, Shaneen, told me the jacket could not be returned because the tag had been removed, even though I had the tag and the receipt with me. The interaction felt rude and unhelpful. She eventually said she would process the return "this time," as if she were doing me a favor, and even mentioned that I could speak to her manager, Kristen. She also did not review my receipt and refunded me based on the current sale price instead of the price I originally paid, which meant I received less money back. , I've been a longtime customer and have purchased many items from Janie and Jack. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. Since they moved the location and Go Global took over the brand, the level of customer service seems to have declined significantly.

Itsy Bitsy was previously one of my favorite boutiques in Houston (where we have very few cute boutiques for upscale children's clothes). Today changed my opinion and I will most certainly never shop there again! I am a frequent shopper and have spent a good amount of money in the store. I went in a couple of weeks ago and spent $300 on two childrens outfits and a pair of shoes (my children not with me for fitting). The owner personally helped me and said that I could exchange if they don't fit ($80 shoes btw). I used the American Cancer Foundation holiday card and got 20% off my purchase. I try the shoes on at home and they are a little snug on my daughter and so I return to exchange for one size larger. They have the shoe and bring it up to the checkout and shockingly ask me to pay the price difference! I question the owner stating that I am simply swapping out for a different size and she says that it doesn't matter and I need to pay the difference! I have never heard such craziness in my entire shopping career. It shocked me and pretty much disgusted me to see such poor customer service. I will certainly NEVER step foot in that store again. If you want good customer service then take your business someplace else!!! Purple Mango in Rice Village is a lovely shop and they are not only extremely kind but carry adorable clothing. :-) read more

Itsy Bitsy Boutique has the cutest clothes. I have a little boy and it is impossible to find cute stuff. Itsy had the coolest clothes. I got an rocker ACDC shirt that dad loved and a cute Guayaberas shirt for my little guy. The prices are about the same as baby gap and target but the clothes are way cutter and unique. Its a little off the beaten path, but way worth it. I just wish I had a little girl because the girls stuff was precious. read more
