Not only was she a pain free phlebotomist, but there was no discomfort during our session. She came in with pure healing love, support and energy. She lifted my spirits and I feel so good. Our session was long, but flew by because her company was so fun and spirit lifting. I hadn't been able to walk 500 feet without my heart beating too fast and having to lay right back down. Taking a shower was taxing in the same way. But RIGHT after my session, I am able to walk around with no side effects. My heart is back to normal. Additionally, setting up the appointment was sooo easy. I get a few texts and Mar was at my door. There were also no additional hidden fees and I just paid for what I got, which was way cool! Dealing with a chronic illness for a decade and countless hospital/er visits have given me unique insight into our institutionally busted ass healthcare system and the majority of staff who never got into healthcare to help ppl but rather the paycheck, and I'll tell you it's not hard to spot them out. Mar certainly is not one of these people. She has a true and genuine heart for stewardship, that wants only to help and make you feel better. Ok, enough about how Mar is the best nurse I've ever met, and onto the treatment. Long story short, I was very sick for 4 days, nonstop nausea/vomiting leaving me completely dehydrated, causing extreme muscle spasms and fatigue. No sleep. Just misery. Not my first rodeo but I'll tell you when she asked me what was going on and I listed the symptoms off, she formulated several vitamins and supplements for the treatment. She identified what would help me most. After infusion I have never gone from barely being able to stand due to weakness to almost 90%+ better. NEVER has a hospital/er EVER asked me if I wanted some b12 or b complex or magnesium to help with my symptoms in any of my over 60 hospital visits. Now I am pretty furious that in a single morning infusion session with Mar it's clear that hospitals don't give af what you have to say or providing care to patients that actually make you feel better. I'm not saying good healthcare workers don't exist in hospitals but they really are few and far between and if they do want to help they're usually hamstrung due to a drs condescending, dismissive attitude because they believe what they know is always the right action, when largely it only harms the patient. We weren't sure what to expect, immediately the front desk receptionist greeted us very warmly and explained how the process works. She was very sweet and made us feel very welcomed. Nathan then took us back to get us prepped and he was absolutely amazing!!!! He made us feel very safe and truly cared about our symptoms and creating the best treatment plans for both of us. I spoke with Kelsey who was was friendly and welcoming. After a small amount of electronic paperwork and a few signatures you're moved into one of the five comfortable and super clean treatment rooms to meet with the doc. Dr. Popa understood exactly what I was feeling even when I couldn't articulate the unpleasantness of the anesthesia hangover. He took took the time to explain the methylation process and recommended people who struggle with detoxification get the Immunity Wellness Drip with Glutathione. They use a numbing spray to lessen the pain of the needle, which you barely feel. Your arm is then wrapped in a toasty heating pan to eliminated the chill of the fluid. I was offered water and asked to eat the snack they provided (I was told the Vit C can lower your blood sugar.) My husband was allowed to come and go and they offered him the same amenities while he waited too. With Dr. Popa's suggestion of a daily glutathione supplant along with extra B12/folate I am feeling 10x better and on the road to detoxification.
