His photos are so unique and artistic which caught our eyes. After extensive research, we still couldn't shake off the feeling that Vicens was the perfect photographer for us. Thus, we were ecstatic we were able to book Vicens for our wedding at Nestldown. (Tip: Book him early because he's that good!) We then had our phone consultation with Shannon who was very patient with our long list of questions and put our jitters at ease. Then came to our wedding day, Vicens was absolutely great to work with. He made sure we were comfortable - it's like we have known him forever even though we had just met him that morning. His bubbly personality and infectious smile was contagious to those around him which made our day even more special. It's extremely pleasurable to see the amount of passion that Vicens has behind his camera. He's happy every second to capture our love story and tells it so well especially through our wedding book that he made for us which was custom ordered from Italy. The high quality and layout of our wedding book is the perfect way for us to look back on our special day. I recommend them to everyone for the reasons below. Shannon was so organized. She was great with instructions for the contract and setting up a date that would work for everyone. She also gave great style and location advice. This was our first shoot so we definitely needed the guidance. Most importantly, her communication was wonderful!! She was polite, fun, and responded in a timely manner. She also monitored the weather, which is important in the Bay Area. Vicen, the photographer, made us feel so comfortable, especially because we are a bit shy. He showed us how to pose and kindly started with simple poses before pushing us to think outside the box. He also has great attention to detail. My hair always parts funny and he noticed his small nuance fact and helped us fix it to get a good shot. He was on time and even went to scope out the place early. We loved it. His creativity and passion showed. Although we haven't see the final photos yet, we had a wonderful experience and Vicen showed us some on his digital camera. They looked really artsy and amazing. It is tough to catch the lighting, angels, and moments he was able to show us. We can't wait to see the final products and really enjoyed this experience. It was so fun that Vicen and Shannon make us want to be professional models (though we probably wouldn't be that great)!

My husband and I opted to do without a videographer, so pictures are all we have to remember our special (and quite expensive) day. Enter Rodrigo Varela - a man who's captured the likes of Jay-Z on film and regularly shoots events like the Latin Grammy Awards, but had no problem making my husband and I feel like celebrities with images to rival those in any upscale wedding mag. Recently, I had the pleasure of spending another day with Rodrigo, this time behind the scenes of my sister's "quince" photo shoot. Watching him work is inspiring as he shudders at the mundane and makes it a personal goal to never duplicate any shot he's previously produced - a challenge even for this experienced photographer considering the Biltmore is a common choice for brides and quinceañeras alike. I only saw a few images during the shoot, but the sneak peak he afforded me assures me he's triumphed yet again.
