I will start off by saying Leo himself is a great photographer but apparently he only does engagement pictures and not the actual wedding. He uses someone else and does the photo edits. Which came as a shock to my sister on the day of her wedding and he walks in with this female photographer. When I tell you this females attitude ( she doesn't deserve to be called a lady) was atrocious, she was rude, walked in as though she was something and that was probably that Craigslist photographers first wedding shoot! We all absolutely hated her. She had the gall to say in front of my sisters and I that she "wasn't feeling this wedding". We all were hot and she ( the female photographer) had the personality of a wet sock! No one asked for her opinion! You're not there to "feel the wedding " , you're there to guide us on where you want us to take the pictures, capture the best moments of the event and shut your mouth. After our bridesmaid pictures, the bride pulled Leo aside and begged him to take the camera from that female and takeover the photography for her wedding... my sister even cried and Leo still left us with her and walked out. For any future couple planning to get married, please don't use him because that told us that he doesn't care about your wedding, he just cares about getting paid. For that, the fact that my sister cried on her wedding day ( the supposed happiest day of her life) and begged him to take over yet he still walked away, I will never forget or forgive. My sister in the end told him she regretted choosing him for a photographer. The videographer in his team was by far the best person there. He was an absolute sweetheart even when dealing with that sorry excuse of a photographer (the female) as she kept cutting into his shots. I even heard him tell her to get out of his way. She kept cutting in between the bridesmaids during the ceremony to take pictures, apparently before the wedding, she broke a few of the vases that went down the aisle. I promise you, she was the worst! Then during the dancing, she had the MC pull all the bridal party outside for the night shoots that was only meant for the bride and groom, had us waiting outside for 30-40 minutes doing nothing which made the guests assume everything was over and the majority of them started to leave and we still had a little over an hour and a half left to the wedding. Like I said, the videographer was a sweetheart, the female photographer should stick to taking pictures of animals because at least they won't care about her lack of social skills and Leo, I'm sure he's a great guy but after my sisters wedding, I have no faith in him and you shouldn't too. Apparently someone signed me up at a bridal show and I told them I never went. I had to block the number, they've called me multiple times from different numbers and won't stop calling me. I have never given them my information, I was signed up by god knows who, and this company won't stop calling me. Its completely unprofessional and it is unnerving to get all these calls. read more

My experience with Leo began years ago. As an event planner, one of my brides asked me to join her on a consultation with him. From the very 1st appointment we knew Leo was the right person for the job! He explained to us the difference good lighting and angles can make, had a whole slide show prepared, he listens to your vision without rushing, he is so passionate and knowledgeable about his work. Leo is the very best, our ceremony photos came out like a MAGAZINE spread. I would 100% recommend him. We tried saving the money and went with a different photographer for the reception (Inlimine Productions), and OMG, what a disappointment. The photos were blurry, we had our eyes closed, they arrived super late to record the ceremony and missed the entire processional! I am so grateful we ended up hiring Leo, as these are the only memories we have now. He gives great directions, has such high energy, was on time, always picks up his phone to answer questions, the light assistants were so sweet even helped fixing my dress, but most importantly, he captures every emotion of the day so beautifully. Leo was recommended to us by another photographer who had his wedding filmed also by Leo. Safe to say, we were in great hands. Upon meeting him, his presence was absolutely warm and welcoming. He was very professional and patient with us as we made our decisions based on his fare prices. Prices in line with other well known wedding photographers in the area (Paid $4K for a 5 hour event 3 years ago, and did not even come with prints). HOWEVER, the results were poor to say the least. Don't get me wrong, Leo is a very nice, personable, and fun person...but personality can only get you so far. Pros: Great personality and somewhat creative. Cons: Paid an extra $400 for a "lighting assistant" who he recommended. This assistant turned out to be some inexperienced girl who looked like some stranger he picked up out of nowhere. Paid extra for digital negatives that only amounted to about less than 100 pictures, many of them useless. The photos in the coffee table album were poorly edited, very amateurish. The event was in a dark room, yet the photos look like they were taken in the middle of the day with all the lights on and windows wide open. You can even see the flash bulbs from remote flash in some of the pictures. You would think he would've took the time to properly edit these photos before publishing them. Very disappointed in the end results. Other photographers we visited had a full time staff of editors. I did not see that with Leo, and I believe the end results directly reflect the lack of editing. We know that photos do not come out perfectly straight out of the camera, but it is up to you to make up for that. Word of advice, use a photographer that is talented in editing. Also, if i could do it again, I would definitely hire a videographer (maybe my desire to have a videographer was spurred by having such a great lack of decent photos). read more

This is the most obnoxious photographer we've had the displeasure of interacting with even though we've never met in real life. My fiance and I signed up for the Florida Bridal & Wedding Expo, and Leo apparently took this opportunity to buy(?) phone numbers from their list in order to text people repeatedly and beg for business. We didn't even end up attending the bridal show nor have either of us ever met this so-called photographer, yet a year later we are still receiving texts from "Leo Photographer" under several different names such as "Diane" and "Valerie". Blocking doesn't work as they are using different numbers to text. I also found it funny that some of the messages don't even stay consistent with names: "Hello! this is Diane from Leo Photographer... Best, Valerie." Clearly attention to detail is lacking here, which is concerning considering these people are responsible for wedding photography. Of course, it's also unprofessional on the bridal expo's part for handing over contact information in the first place, but most photographers don't stoop so low as to take said information and harass potential clients repeatedly, particularly with clients who never expressed any interest in their services. We have already politely asked them to take us off their list, but the only responses we've gotten are the same copy/paste begging for us to visit their website or call them or set up a Skype session (not even acknowledging the fact that we declined). We'll be filing a complaint with the BBB. This is unacceptable and pathetic that resorting to such disgraceful practices is how Leo Photographer attempts to get clients. I would avoid them at all costs since apparently professionalism is not a priority. The kind of photographer that can't get business through a good reputation and quality work is likely not the type of photographer you can count on for such an important day as your wedding. Leo is the BEST Miami wedding photographer. I met Leo at a bridal convention. After I got home from the convention, I went online to check his portfolio and I immediately fell in love with his pictures. I knew right then and there he was my photographer before we even had a meeting. When we met, he actually remembered me from the convention, which was shocking. I took the meeting as simply a formality because I already knew I wanted to hire Leo, but I also felt my then-fiancé (now-husband) should meet him and have a hand in the decision. After the meeting, before we even stepped in the elevator and before I even uttered a word, my husband said Leo was the one. I am a picture person. I've always loved photography and angles, the image you can create through a click of a camera, and I knew that if I wanted to go over my budget for my wedding it would be for the wedding pictures. Leo, however, has great prices that can meet any budget and STILL give you high quality pictures. He has an eye for beauty, and will create a breathtaking photo from an angle you would never expect is possible. Leo would do anything to get the perfect shots for you and I should know. During our engagement shoot, he would stand shaking on rocks, top of a car to get a lot of different pictures from different angles. Someone described him perfectly as Spiderman. Another person I HAVE to rave about is Miranda. Miranda is Leo's assistant and a wonderful photographer. She has a great eye as well. When she saw a moment, something to the naked eye would seem insignificant, she'd click and take the shot, and it would look incredible. Moments that you never saw, she captured them. Miranda and Leo make a great team because they both provide something different and unique that, when combined, creates memorable photos.
