Ivan did an amazing job in a very challenging attic bedroom, that had a lot of corners and slanted walls. He did a beautiful texture on the ceilings and did not get the collar ties or the floors dirty. He was super quick, mudded everything in one evening and met the deadline that we asked for. Best part is that he actually answers his phone and replies to texts which most contractors don't do. He even did some patches in the second bedroom which wasn't part of our initial ask. I would advise to call him a few weeks ahead of your project, as he is super busy in the spring/summer. Overall, it was a smooth and fast experience and would strongly recommend him. read more

I tried yo hire this guy to tape and mud my attic area, it was difficult to get him to even come out for an estimate appointment but he finally gave me a price over the phone with pictures. He made me wait an additional week to start and then on the day he was going to start he flaked on me. I called to ask where he was and he said his helper stopped coming to work. He's solution was to show up at 4:30 pm to start working. This guy is unreliable beware. read more

Very impressed, great guy. I taught him some Hungarian and he taught me some Bulgarian. Very decent price and he did an excellent job despite my many mistakes putting up the drywall. I put some window blocks in the framing of my basement wall (I know I could have done it much better) but he worked around it really well. I had a 300 sq foot room where he did the mudding, sanding and corners and in the span of about a month he had it done. He came about once a week between that time period so about 4 or 5 times total for a few hours. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get a project done that does NOT want to mud, sand and tape like me!! read more

Ivan is the absolute best of the best! We bought a fixer-upper that needed work in every square inch of the house, including repairs to all of the sheet rock and ceilings. We called a lot of contractors around the area, some of which gave us extreme prices, said that they couldn't handle the project/didn't know how to fix it, or didn't even call back with an estimate after looking at the house. Not only was Ivan positive and clear throughout the whole process, but he fixed, repaired, and replaced everything to perfection. His work was absolutely amazing- we couldn't believe how well he was able to fix the house, especially one that was in such poor shape. He did all of the ceilings too- repairs, taping/mudding, and the textures, adding knockdown throughout (and changing the few rooms with the original ceilings from popcorn to knockdown as well). It's unbelievable now to look at the before pictures and how it looks now. I couldn't recommend him more- whatever project you have, Ivan is the best man for the job! read more

We put a large addition on our main floor using many of my husbands contacts as he is in the construction industry. So, our standards are high and we are very detail oriented. As we approached the end of our already past-due project, the drywaller lined up couldn't make it in our timeline. We were approaching the holidays and NEEDED it done, we had guests coming. My husbands contacts were booked out for weeks. So, we found two guys on craigslist who promised us the moon. They were an embarrassingly awful and we ultimately fired them. I was gun shy about tapping the internet for another drywaller but time was running out. I met with three I found on yelp and went with Ivan. Not only for the price, but above all I trusted him. He knows his stuff, he will be honest and straightforward and with two small kids in the house and working full time jobs, I trusted him to be in my home alone and respect it while he was in it doing his job. He cleaned up after himself everyday and updated me on the job status. He was honest about little things that came up (mud wasn't drying as fast due to insulation - not his fault) but no big deal and we let it dry another day before he pushed forward on our tight timeline. He showed up on time and worked around other contractors that were there. He was what we needed. I will use him again and absolutely pass his name along.
