I made the call, and I'm so glad I found them. My agent Michelle A. was fantastic. She was the epitome of excellent customer service. Michelle was knowledgeable, kind and patient. She took the time, on multiple occasions, to answer all the questions I had regarding the application process and the insurance policy. In addition she was both efficient, timely and responsive. Throughout our interactions she made me feel like I was a valued customer and that my insurance need was a priority for her. I can't say enough good things about Ives insurance. Michelle and her team (Stephanie, Emily, and Lauren) have be great to work with. They are responsive and very understanding. I was with Ives for quite some time then left for 1 year due to a recommendation from someone I trusted which turned out to be a huge mistake. I was given misleading quotes by a new Farmer's agent which took me some time to figure out. Everyone was so nice at Ives when I cancelled and did not make me feel bad or pressured in any way. I'm sooo happy to be back with Ives!!!! and won't make the same mistake again. Michelle even made me a huge spreadsheet with other quotes I had acquired to show the small differences this time around. She was honest and up front about everything and I was able to save quite a bit from my previous Farmer's policies. I live in East County and Fire Insurance has become extremely difficult to get. Many carriers have dropped coverage or left California all together. I was with State Farm who dropped us and my State Farm agent recommend I call Renee Anns with Ives Insurance to get coverage thru the State of CA program called the "Fair Plan". Its been over 3 years now and Renee has been awesome to work with! She knows the Fair Plan, what coverage is needed, how to handle the supplemental coverages that Fair Plan doesn't cover and most importantly she cares about the client & is honest. We should start with the rates. I've been in the apartment rental business for 25 years and Ives saved me $6000 a year right out of the gate when I switched a few years back. That was huge. I was with Farmers (sorry Farmers) for many years but their rates just continued to climb. I've been beyond happy with Lauren and her team. The banks can sometimes get very particular with regards to coverage, terms, changes, etc. and you need a good insurance agent in order to keep up! I don't know what I would of done without Lauren. She has just been with me every step of the way as I've had some particular insurance requirements lately. But along with that they are able to get you the best pricing I have ever seen in the market.
