We used to love this office and I didn't think we'd have to look for some place new ever. But the quality of service is no longer there. My daughter hadn't been seen by Dr.Una in a couple years and I wasn't aware she was no longer at the practice. The doctor's we did see (Young & Soto) were still nice but the nurses/office protocol has not been it. The nurses are constantly changing and they don't really seem like they want to be there. Everything is done through the portal which is understandable but the main person of contact, Fatima Sparks, comes off super rude in her responses. We had an issue with my newborn's insurance for which we paid an amount at her second visit and it's only because she didn't even respond to let us know what we needed to provide to prove she was insured. It ended up getting resolved but I didn't even care to ask for a refund for the first visit just so I didn't have to deal with Fatima again. I no longer recommend this office. read more

I can admit I missed my appointment. It happens but for it to be a first appointment and you send such a rude message about how you can delete patients for missing an appointment and then tell me to cal the office just to say we removed you out the system is horrible. At the same time sent me another message about updating my information. I don't know who teaches customer service over there but it can not be the front staff or Fatima Sparks. She sent the rude message and whoever little Ms. I will speak while you're speaking, who answered the phone, has no phone etiquette at all. Front office staff is rude and has an attitude. Doesn't greet you when you walk in and simply ask you "last name?" When you ask question she acts like we're bothering them. Stay away from this place, they talk behind patients after they leave. It was just a bad atmosphere all around especially when you have your kids around. read more

I called on 10/7/21in reference to a concert that I have for my daughter. I sat on the phone while representative took all my info and then scheduled appointment for Monday 10/11/21 she did offer a earlier appointment but I needed to schedule the time off with my job. She told me to call before coming inside. Monday comes I pull in to the parking spot and calls they don't see appointment for my daughter at all. I explain to the representative what was going on with my daughter and I really need for her to be seen. She place me hold and after waiting for 5 minutes the phone disconnects. I call back and they did not answer the phone or call back. I DONT recommend if children is not a priority and you can't fix your wrongs due to scheduling this is not the career field for any of the office help. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!! Ive been forgotten in one of the rooms for over 50 minutes! They always take FOREVER! Even with a simple vaccine and wellness check up. Nurses give wrong information and the place is dirty, I've been bringing my kids since the beginning of the year and the sinks have not been cleaned at all, plus they don't even have a mop to clean spills. I was taking my kids here for about a year and most visits they would see Dr. Una. She was always wonderful with them and would make my children feel comfortable. However when Dr. Una was on pregnancy leave, I had to bring my daughter in for a sick visit. I was told over the phone that she would be seeing another doctor which of course I was ok with since I needed her to be seen. I forgot his name but he was a middle aged African man (he had a heavy accent so I assume that's what what he was.) What a horrific experience! He introduced himself to me and didn't even acknowledge my daughter. He did not smile not even once. He was very basic and short on answering my questions. When it came down to doing the exam, he told me to put my child up on he table. So I did and of course my 4 year old was apprehensive and he did nothing to help. He just stood there with a blank stare waiting for me to settle her down. When he came close to check her vitals and whatever else doctor's do, my daughter was scared, crying, and moving around a lot. The doctor obviously started getting frustrated and breathed heavy a couple times. Of course she reacted that way since he never acknowledged her from the start! Plus with the expression-less face, and careless attitude, I'm sure she was scared of him. Even I felt a bit scared of him! Then to top it of, my mother brought in my son for a sick visit and had an identical experience! If my kids saw Dr. Una every visit, I'd consider still bringing them here. But the juggling between careless doctors and nurse practitioners I cannot do. I'll be finding another kid friendly office. read more

Avoid this practice at ALL COSTS !!! Highly disappointed that my children have been patients at your practice for years and charmaine (your receptionist) refuses to give me a letter or statement of my children being patients there . I requested it by fax 10 days ago after she told me 7 days to receive them then got very rude over the phone after making up so many excuses about why I still haven't gotten them . What kind of practice holds patient information hostage ??? I will be writing reviews about this everywhere and escalating this issue as highly as possible !!! read more

Excellent front desk/nursing staff and pediatricians. The office is always clean with top notch service. They encourage patient-doctor dialogues for new parents so ask away =). They have two locations (Peachtree Corner & Lawrenceville) so make sure you know which office you are making the appointment for, as I believe they have a 3 strike rule so a "no show" for any reason is considered a strike. I recommend scheduling your appointment at opening hour or right after lunch to reduce waiting time. The office is ALWAYS booked during flu season so do make an appointment the moment your child gets sick. If they can't fit you in the same day, hopefully they can see you the next day or so. If you have an infant you will have to undress your child down to his/her diaper so I suggest bringing a small blanket for warmth while waiting for the pediatrician. read more

Dr. Una is awesome, but the staff quality is poor. My child needed a prescription that was not covered by insurance. Per the pharmacist, I requested that the office submit a different one. After 6 calls and broken promises regarding this matter, the prescription was never written. Call #6 involved me being placed on hold and no one ever returned. I called back and informed them of this action, they placed me on hold again and never returned. We are looking for a new pediatrician. read more

Dr. Una is amazing. I love the fact that she thinks things through out loud so we can understand her thought process. When she doesn't have an answer she is honest about it instead of junpiung to conclusions just to get us out the door like other doctors in the area. New in town and was impressed by the website. I have taken both my son and daughter here. I didn't feel like the doctors or nurses took the time to really talk to the kids to make them feel comfortable. It was a very routine and basic exam. My concerns and questions were answered on a surface level, and I just didn't feel good about both of their appointments. During our daughters appointment we saw Dr. Una. During the second appointment for my son Dr. Una wasn't in and we saw a nurse practitioner. I would have liked some notice regarding the doctor not being in. The front desk ladies were unfriendly both times we had gone there. I guess we will be looking for another pediatrician. read more

Worst front staff I have ever dealt with. Their lack of urgency and followup is the worst. They are rude and really don't care about your issue. You call and are left on hold until the call disconnects. Then when you do get someone on the phone they don't even try to act like they care about your concerns and don't follow up when they say they will. I have already pulled all three of my daughters out of this practice and wont ever recommend anyone to this office. It is sad because the doctor isn't that bad but their front staff will eventually bring this practice down. If you care about your children's health and are use to good service don't take them here. You will regret it when you do and you notice that it is not just one person or one occurrence. Good business practices will not be found at this pediatric office. Dr Henderson was so rough and aggressive with my autistic daughter that she scraped and cause aggressive bleeding in my daughter's ear when she forcefully demanded to examine her. When I presented the complaint to the owner and head pediatric doctor e were released as patients. The complaint was just given to one of her office staff administrators. She never took the time out to call to even hear or even apologize to me as the mother. As a result the department of health will have a complaint pertain to Dr. Henderson's bedside manner and the practice of this particular location. This is not appropriate and it is poor business practices. I would not recommend going to Ivy League Pediatrics because if there is a problem instead of an intelligent application of acknowledging the fault and apologizing you will merely be released. In addition paperwork takes too long and the staff seems incompetent. Both office location resembles a third-world office location that you would find in the Caribbean or in some remote part of Nigeria . Don't recommend taking my children or any other children at this location.The staffers arw too busy shilling Dr. Una as if she's a movie star when actuality she's no different than any other pediatric physician. read more

My daughter and I were taking my grandkids to this doctor for about a year. When Dr. Una was there, it was a good experience. They aren't up-front with the fact that she is no longer there. Now, every time we go, we get a nurse practitioner, and it is not the same experience as with Dr. Una. Another problem we always have is they open late (at 10:00am) and close early (4:00pm) which doesn't mix well with school-aged children when one is trying to have them miss as little school as possible. I wouldn't advise going here, and keep in mind, too, they charge $25.00 for a copy of the child's medical records, whether the child went there one time or hundreds of times. Before you can be seen as a new patient you have to do an online registration which does not work so I was already frustrated and the top of the hill, Then I went stumbling down when I had to on hold for a total of 9 minutes only for her to ask me to hold, I decided to come and pick up the paperwork and the place was dark and gloomy. The three ladies in the front one of their hair was tore down and come to find out this is the one that answers the phone. I called before coming to pick up the paperwork on hold for 13 minutes and then hung up on. I asked when I arrived how hard will it be for me to make an appointment since it hard just getting through. She said it depended on who I wanted to see, I decided to go with Snellville Ped. although there reviews are a 3 star I can get though and the online process was a breeze. read more

Just leaving the peachtree corners location and I couldn't wait to get into my car to leave a review. My son has a severe heart condition that requires heavy monitoring and specifics in his care plan. Flexibility and understanding is a must, and patience is something I look for when finding my sons provider. We just moved from out of state and this is the second pediatric office I've tried. Leaving our medical team backs me and finding a new one in our new home has been very stressful and quite frightening to say the least. The first pediatric office was not a desirable encounter and I was very scared looking for another after that visit. It is difficult finding the right fit, but upon entering the office of Ivy League I knew right away I would love them, and the rest of the appointment continued to leave me highly satisfied. I left with the confidence knowing Dr. Una and her staff would be a part of my sons medical team for years to come. If you are in the area I highly recommend this team. i am a former employee! and what i don't understand is how or why an office manager is never in the office!!! week before last i was taken off the schedule because my kids were ill and i needed to be with them. however maketa was at an appointment with her child on yesterday and several other days she has been away because of her kid!!! i missed a very important deadline yesterday with my adoption case manager because my office manager was not professional enough to respond after the several times that i reached out to her!! my check that i was supposed to receive on the 1st of the month was late (4 days) causing my rent to be late! all these are examples of how inconsiderate the administration of ivy league pediatrics really is! i will be reaching out to several news and networking stations in gwinnett county about this!!! this is not the way a office named "gwinnett best" should operate!!! if you are ever looking for employment with a friendly, caring physician/administrator-ivy league peds is not the place to go!!!! if dr henderson decides to branch off-she would br a great employer? read more
