But I'm OK with this because it is the same business as Star nails which I would not have chosen to go to but glad that I gave them a chance. I came to this salon and got a gel manicure and my daughter just got a manicure and her nails painted. First of all my daughters polish came off the very next day. With my gel manicure I was not happy whatsoever with the outcome. I got glitter accent nails on my index and ring finger of each hand, the glitter is all clumpy and thick, It's so uneven. It looks bad. I had the lady fix one nail because it looked so bad. But even after she fixed it it still looks and feels all clumpy and thick. My nail polish is already chipped as well. It started chipping two days after my manicure. I have only had my manicure for a little over a week and it looks HORRIBLE!! I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, and I will never go back to this salon to get my nails done again. read more

Excellent work! Love my nails! Tony is superb! Beautiful salon, but its sad that its not as busy as it should be! Prices are lower than anywhere else too, but not the quality! It may not be in a superb location like the others, but way worth its weight in gold! Give it a try! I'm sticking with this place! This place is what inspired me to become a nail tech. I've only ever had my nails done by one girl here, she was fast and efficient and did a beautiful job. However cleanliness in this salon is an issue and I quit coming and started doing my own nails when she called me over to sit immediately after another lady had vacated the seat without sanitizing the station at all, just swiped the dust off the table with a dry towel. This made me really check out what she was doing, like reusing files and efile bits. Plus the bathroom was pretty dirty with no soap or towels. It's a shame because the lady does such nice work, and is very friendly and pleasant. So 5 stars for the quality of the work, but subtract 2 (and it should be more) for the cleanliness of the salon. read more

Review update: I've been coming here since they first open last year. And it's still as great as before! New owners are very welcoming. Prices, services and equipment/decor are all the same. I tried the other nail salons in town during the new ownership transition, and they just don't compare to the feeling of Ivy Nails. I highly recommend making an appointment! read more

I'm from out of town, and decided to get a pedicure. I looked at the reviews seeing good things. I came in today, on a Sunday. They were able to get me in right away. I got the deluxe spa pedicure. It was amazing, well worth the money. She even spent extra time on the callus treatment. I asked for a specific design and showed a picture off pinterest. At first she didn't understand what I meant, because the colors in the photo were not the same colors I picked. After two other staff members came over to help explain and understand, she got it done! In shellac colors of course. They have a wide variety of shellac/gel colors. The massage chairs are very nice and they even have the butterfly chairs for the little ones! So cute! It's very clean. I am very happy with the service received. They are under priced to me, they did such a fantastic job. I hope everyone comes here! Will be adding pictures! read more

Clean, kind, affordable, comfortable....all words I'd use to describe them. The new staff is so gentle. I have neuropathy in my legs and it's torture to be touched normally. Today was a pleasure and she seemed to know without my saying a word. She spent soo much time caring for me. My manicurist was also fabulous. Removing gel can be uncomfortable at times. Not today! She didn't use a dremmel but took the time to do it by hand. I wish they knew how much I appreciate what they did. A tip just doesn't express. But I hope they enjoy it read more

I got a pedi here yesterday. Very nice chairs with an intense massage. The pedi lasted about an hour. It was much longer than at other local nail salons. I loved the leg massage and foot scrub. They also have two children's butterfly chairs. Can't wait to take my daughter back here. read more

Went in for a pedicure only took 15 minutes. Did not get a full service treatment. cuticles were not trimmed, toe nails were still dirty, massage was not performed, nails were not filed, cut uneven, nail polish was not applied up to the cuticle and was all over my toe nails. very bad service and she was to busy taking care of others that came in after us. Although my pedicurist Nancy did a good pedicure, I paid extra for the "deluxe" which included a hot stone massage. She literally spent less than 1 minute with the hot stone massage on each leg!!!! Do not pay extra for deluxe, it is not worth it!!! Shen was my manicurist and filed my pinkie finger nails down to the quick, It has been 4 days and my nails are still throbbing. I also paid extra for the "deluxe" which included hot stone massage. She only spent 1 minute TOTAL on both arms. I was disappointed with the service and will never go back!!! read more

I hardly ever write a review for some thing or some place, but I had to take a few minutes and write one for Ivy Nails in Oakhurst. I recently had a pedicure by Lin and it was one of the best I have ever had, especially the leg and foot massage. The place is spotless. All utensils were pre-sterilized in a sealed bag for each customer. The spa was lined with a clean protector and I felt very comfortable that I would not contact some sort of bacteria which has happened to me in the past at other places. Lin was gentle and I did not have any pain as I have had at other places where they were rough. I really don't know why people would go anywhere else in Oakhurst for a pedicure. I cannot comment on a manicure since I did not get one that day, however, I will definitely get one in the future. I had the regular pedicure which was very reasonable and they do offer other more expensive pedicures if you are interested, but they did not pressure me at all to do this. I can't recommend Ivy Nails enough and Lin especially since she did such a fantastic job. Thank you! read more
