I went here looking for a new technician since my usual nail technician moved. I walked in on a Monday morning looking for a simple fill. There was only one lady there who was working on someone and told me she had no time. No offer to make an appointment for later or suggest I come back another day. I'm a guy so I just got the no frills manicure and pedicure. She did an excellent job. I can't speak to her nails and acrylics and all that girly stuff. lol. We talked the entire time which made it extra enjoyable. She is so sweet and speaks English very well. I've never had an experience like this in a nail salon before. She's a great lady and a patriot. I've tried to book an appointment three separate times for a fill and a gel pedicure, and each experience has been the same and extremely frustrating. Every time I call, I'm told there is no availability at all. I've attempted to book weeks in advance and even asked directly for upcoming availability so I could plan accordingly. Instead of offering dates or alternatives, I was simply told the technician is off Wednesdays and Thursdays she goes home early and that there is "nothing available," followed by a quick apology. When I asked about the following week or even the week after that, I was again told no and the call was ended abruptly. At no point was I offered a waitlist, future dates, or any effort to accommodate a new or returning client. If you are not accepting new appointments, that should be communicated clearly rather than repeatedly shutting down inquiries and hanging up on customers. This experience felt unprofessional and dismissive, which is disappointing because I was genuinely trying to support a local business. Probably should remove that you accept walk ins if you won't even take a new client over the phone and can't or won't voice that either. read more

Anna is the best nail technician I have ever had. She does beautiful, professional nails and the over-all treatment (massage, scrub, wax, etc.) is above and beyond wonderful. I am so glad I found Anna and Sunny Nails. I went with black w/purple sparkles this time for Halloween . Anna also does my elderly uncle's nails and she takes such good care of him. His nails are thick and difficult to cut and she always goes above and beyond to make sure he is well taken care of. Highly recommend 10/10 read more

I went to Sunny Nails for the first time last week and I will never go to another salon for a pedicure. Ana was very accommodating to my two year old daughter that I had to bring with me to my appointment. Ana gave my daughter a cute little foot massage and actually painted her toes as well!! I've never actually had a "bad" experience in a nail salon, until today. I made the mistake of asking that they please not just cut the layer of cuticle on my nails but to also aggressively push the skin back first, revealing more dead skin to clean up. This resulted in me inadvertently insulting the owner Eden's 35 years of experience- and the more I tried to explain, the more indignant and angry she became. I kept saying "It's not a big deal, let's just forget it", but she, inappropriately angry for the situation, ordered the nail tech to stop working on me all together and moved her to a client that came in after me, just leaving me in the chair with my feet in the water. I gave the gal who had been working on me $15 for the partial pedicure and walked out. This was hands down, the rudest experience I've ever had. Maybe this place is great, as long as you're prepared to just take what you get. But don't even think about asking for anything that may be important to you or having a reasonable conversation l; It's probable it will be met with hostility. read more

Went to Eden in 8/21. Never again! Sloppy job, slanted nails, 2 were narrower than my actual nail bed & color didn't match sample I had picked out. Can't understand her & she through a fit in front of customers & got angry at me & ranted in Viatnamese because I had her fix. She also burned my nails with the tool and filed my skin to where I was almost bleeding. She was rushed due to other walk-in customers waiting & I had an appointment. I literally developed a tension headache before leaving. Not THERAPEUTIC or professional at all. read more

Don't go here! I usually went to Fresno but I wanted to try someone up the hill. A gentleman Did my fill. He was so rushed and only took 35 minutes, and he was so aggressive with his filing that he cut me twice and and burned me with the dremmel tool. Then two of my nails broke as soon as I got home. I just went and removed his shoddy work today and low and behold I have what appears to be fungus growing. The kind you get when they puncture your nail with dirty instruments. If you go here make sure they are getting clean instruments from a autoclave!!! If not run! Don't end up with infected cuts and a green fingernail like me. I would never post this unless I knew for sure it was from this establishment. I wish zero stars was a thing. read more

I love Eden and her sister Ana. They are so sweet and treat me so well. My nails hold up so well because Eden takes her time and does them right. I don't know how they do it. What with walk-ins and the phone ringing constantly, they still manage to make my nails last a good 3 weeks without chipping or peeling. I would recommend this salon to anyone. This was the most incredible pedicure I've had in my life. My boyfriend and I went on a whim after a big hike in Yosemite and the ladies were so sweet and really took their time with us despite us being walk ins. I only tried this place because of all the 5 star reviews, I really don't know why they have so many, either they have the same repeat customers and it's a loyalty thing or the over all standards are super low for quality nail salons in this area. $250 WASTED! And I swear they over charged us for literally nothing, I had my 9 year old daughter and my 11 year old niece get pedicures and manicures with gel polish, normal salons will charge a child price (which they did advertise as $17) then add like a $5 charge for the gel... no they charged $35 each for pedicures then $30 for the manicures which were super rushed and half assed, then they did a fill for my mom and I charging $25 & $30 and she didn't even match the powder to my existing one, you can literally see where the old acrylic grew out still. The pedicures on my mom and I were so rushed as well. I'm just really shocked and upset and hope I can save someone else money because we will not be back! read more

I asked for square coffin, and came out with very short coffin. each nail is a different shape. i got a blue French tip and I can see underneath to my natural nail. the lines are not straight. three of my fingers were bleeding from being filed. I have been coming to this nail salon bi-weekly since the end of July. Eden and Anna are absolutely wonderful. Charismatic and comical. Very considerate, prompt, hard working women. Couldn't ask for a better set of sisters /people! This review isn't just to let you know how wonderful they are but to reiterate how important it is to treat people with respect. Especially those who offer public services. I was in getting my nails done on 8/21 and witnessed a customer not only berate Eden but completely disrespect her. Said customer picked her nail color only to confirm when asked if color was correct. Waited until after Eden had finished then complained they were not right. Who does that? Waits until completely finished to correct someone. Really?! Someone who obviously is unhappy in their life and feels empowered by trying to make others feel less. Eden and Anna, I would just like to say I'm sorry on behalf of J.O. ! No one should ever be treated like they're lesser of a person! Only reason it is getting stars at all is because they did a good job on my pedicure. However, I got acrylic nails as well and was very disappointed. The man who did them rushed through it. I showed him a photo of the length and shape I was wanting, and then I picked out a color. He was very rough and filed my actual finger 2 different times to the point that my skin was peeling on the side of my finger. After filing, he went through and cut my nails shorter again, but only on one hand, so on my right hand my nails were a good half an inch shorter than they were on the other hand. They were not shaped the way I had wanted, and were very uneven. He was very rude. My nails lasted about 3 days before I took them off, which also took off skin with them. Needless to say, their pedicures were good, but I wouldn't get acrylics or anything done there. read more

When completed my gel polish nails looked good (not great) and I was pleased. However the man that did them said he was doing me a favor by applying two coats so it would last longer. I'd never had this process so I said OK. There was also some upsell pressure to make my nails longer and do special art for more $$. Glad I declined that option The polish started to chip off after 1.5 weeks and I had to have it all removed while on vacation. My nails are ruined by this process. They now split and are very weak. I've cut them as short as possible but after 6 weeks there's been no improvement. I will never go to this establishment again. read more
