The staffs are wonderful and caring. My dad came here because he had a stroke and couldn't move his right side and the staffs do their best to help him despite not being specialized in stroke recovery. They taught us different exercises to do at home. Locations is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the back. Great rehab with great people. Helped my husband reciver from hip and knee surgeries, and helped me with IT band injury

PT was mediocre. Most of the time was spent doing exercises., only approx. 5 minutes of mild muscle Manipulations. Since then, I found a physical therapist that spends at least 20 minutes working the area needing rehab! This has been so beneficial! BEWARE, if using Insurance , I was quoted, by the receptionist at the front desk, no more than $100 when using my insurance. I decided to use my insurance so it could go towards my deductible. I later received a bill of approximately $150 each visit! If I had known this, I would have paid out-of-pocket, $100 per visit! This is not right!! read more

I started going to Ivy about a month after a total left hip replacement. I was a bit skeptical of how effective PT would be, but I was amazed at the progress I made in two months of work with Lindsay and the Ivy team. They were attentive while at the same time not hovering over me as I went through my exercises independently. My session always started with a relaxing heating pad on the affected area and ended with manual work on my scar which was a great way to wind down. After 7 or 8 weeks I was amazed that the limp I came in with was gone and that I could put weight on my new hip. I highly recommend Ivy if you've had a hip replacement! read more

Great place to do PT. So much better than my cavitated pt establishment that I'm happy to pay out of pocket to go here. Post back surgery i want the best, and these guys seem the ticket. Mom went post hip surgery after i saw great reviews on here and suggested since it's local to her that it would be a good place and recommended to me after her experience. I love a half hour out and gladly make the drive rather than go to any of the sub-par establishments between home and here. Good attention from the therapists i work with and only minimal interaction with assistants. Have worked with two of the guys here so far and both have been attentive and excellent. Both are knowledgeable. Both are creative with my workout plan. I am 78 years old and have lived with pain in my lower back for years. It grew increasingly painful more recently so I went to see a spine Dr. who determined that I have stenosis in my spine and prescribed PT. Since my wife and son have recently had great results and experiences at Ivy Rehab in Malvern, I decided to go there, I live 1 1/2 miles away in Malvern. I am very pleased with the results so far. After 4 weeks of therapy my pain has been lessened and I am building muscle strength in my core. My therapist, Lindsay Jones, has developed a program specifically for me and also massages the exact spots that are very sensitive and gently works the kinks out and stretches my spine to finish off the session. I go 3 times/week and look forward to each session. They are really helping me lessen my pain and rebuilding muscles that have suffered from decades of disuse. read more

Quick, long overdue update...! After a few visits, I now have full range of mobility in my arm. \^_^/ I couldn't be happier with the results and couldn't have asked for a better team to help me with my rehab. And more better news, Wallace and Nilan PT has now moved to their new location in Malvern, PA! It is A LOT more spacious than their previous location in Paoli. They're now able to see more patients and have brought in more equipment so they can help their patients recover faster with a more variety of exercises. But don't worry, the level of care and personal attention I received at the previous location was never lost. Ross and his team are constantly following their patients during their visit so you still get the one-on-one level of care that one would expect. They recently hired more staff which are very friendly as well. Parking is also very convenient. There are some street parking in the front or more free parking in the garage out back (entrance is on the west side of the building). If you park in the garage out back, Wallace and Nilan has a convenient rear entrance directly from the parking garage! They're further back on the right as you enter the garage. You'll see their sign on the door, it's a little hidden behind a set of railings. For anyone needing PT care, this is the place to go!!! I wouldn't know why anyone would go anywhere else!!! Please read, if you want to save your money I went to Wallace & Nilan in August 2019 by a friend's recommendation. The therapists were lovely. During the same time, my husband was also going to a therapist, but at Excel Physical Therapy. I am not sure if the headache I encountered with Wallace & Nilan was worth it when Excel offered excellent service as my husband prescribed, and they didn't request payment upfront. Here was my issue: Wallace and Nilan made me pay upfront a fixed amount for each session. They didn't check my insurance deductibles. They just wanted me to pay that X amount regardless, and if I overpaid, they said they would pay me back. They said they reimburse me eventually. My husband advised me not to go there and try Excel or another clinic, but I already liked the therapists I decided to stay. The result? Today is Dec 2020; Wallace & Nilan still need to reimburse me. The amount they own me isn't much, but it is my money, and I want it back. Every time I am the one who called them to check on the status of my check, they pass the ball to the other department will call me back, but NOTHING happens. So here is my recommendation, there are tons of great professionals out there; if you don't mind have a headache trying to fight for YOUR money back, then go to them, but I would def. NOT recommend them due to the inconsiderable treatment from their administration. read more

Wallace & Nilan are without question the best PT program and professionals in the city. I've had various back problems over the years and have seen a variety of physical therapists. The folks at W&N are in a league of their own. After months of living with painful and debilitating sciatica, I have found the relief that I was beginning to assume I would never have. I went to W&N to be treated for a concussion related to a bad fall. My therapists, Lindsay and Eric, were both amazing. They asked about my symptoms and what my end goals were, tested me and after just a few weeks I am almost 100% back to where I was before my accident. W&N is the third PT experience for a variety of excessive sports (i.e. old age) ailments, from tennis elbow, to low back pain, to the latest frozen shoulder & many 'itis' also. After 30 visits, the shoulder is mostly thawed. I was released from PT. The staff is knowledgeable, eager, & instructional. 2-3 visits weekly are the preferred which may be hard, but W&N offers early bird & late nite hours. Starting to open up their Friday afternoon hours also. Place is sometimes small w/many other patients going thru their routines. But if one chooses the perfect time (usually later morning or after lunch) you may have personalized attention. They monitor your exercises for proper execution to increase mobility without pain. The pain comes when the PTs stretch & stretch to work out the injury - a common procedure for every PT. The redundancy of the exercises is essential for rehabilitation so it's best to work at your own pace & move thru the routine slowly & correctly. With limited space & others vying for the same machines, one will need to be patient & wait turns or move to a different exercise. Parking is easy, Malvern is soon becoming the new hot spot - the newest addition is a whole foods market w/in walking distance, easy stopover for quick grocery shopping. Ross Nilan has helped my family through several medical issues. And we are so grateful. I have had treatment in the Malvern office for pain and stiffness due to arthritis in my knee, a herniated disc and and now for a weak, stiff and painful hand due to arthritis and a swollen and inflamed tendon. I have received individualized and careful attention on each visit and can say that Wallace and Nilan has brought me to full and pain free mobility through their expert treatment. My husband was treated after a knee replacement and also for some tears in his shoulder after a fall. He is also a happy and fully recovered patient. In February I broke a bone in my foot and badly sprained my ankle. After weeks of having the affected ankle/foot in a boot, my orthopedist prescribed PT and I chose to get the therapy at Wallace & Nilan in Malvern. From day 1, Ross, Kristen and the rest of the team were committed to helping me achieve my goal of getting back to all of my typical activities (running, hiking, rock climbing). They created a challenging, but do-able, rehab program for me, followed my progress carefully and increased exercise difficulty at (what seemed to be) exactly the right times. They do not take a "cookie cutter" approach to therapy -I felt like my program was individualized and staff was happy to discuss rationale for each exercise. After 7 weeks of PT, my ankle was strong and flexible enough that I could start running again.
