My previous PT at another place didn't help much and I gave up on doing PT. Excel completely changed my impression on what PT was like, and now I feel super hopeful about regaining strength and mobility in my right arm and shoulder. The clinic is very clean, spacious, and comfortable to work one on one with my PT as well as doing my exercises. The staff is very kind and fun to be around. My PT, Jen, is just wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs physical therapy. They are, by far, the most thorough and beneficial physical therapy I have ever had. In the past, with other pt, I wasn't really feeling it and never continued. With Andrew and Brian, I couldn't wait for my next appt to see how much progress I was making. Andrew rehabbed my broken ankle to near 100%. I now have a script for core and other muscles that have weakened from lack of use due to the ankle injury. I know I will be well cared for and everything I say will be heard and taken seriously. After a warm up on the stationary bike, I casually said I had a headache. I was surprised when Andrew asked me why I had a headache. For some reason I said, "I don't know... high blood pressure?" I didn't have a high blood pressure diagnosis at that point so I don't know why I said that. Andrew put a BP cuff on me and sure enough my blood pressure was very high. I am now under my doctor's care and monitoring my blood pressure regularly.

Motive takes pride in offering personal care and 1:1 relationship building with each client for continuity of care for duration of treatment. The rhythm of each PT session is 15-30 minutes of hands-on manipulation or treatment, and then oversight of PT exercises. Tyler juggles hectic schedules with multiple patients ensuring everyone receives proper care each visit. My treatments were at both the Berwyn office while being stood up, and at the Frazer clinic. Both of the clinics are hygenic and kept up to date. There is some free weight gym equipment, "cardio" type machines, and tons of traditional PT accessories for treatments/exercises. I have been able to offer input to my progress and observe Tyler offer ways to pivot treatment as needed based on my needs and next steps. Tyler has also been an advocate for my care with physicians or insurance providers, and following up as needed on diagnostics to inform PT care. I am very appreciative of physical rehab/therapy services Motive provided me. I absolutely recommend them and would come back again. My context as a patient is someone who has periodically sought out PT over 10 years at various style clinics...large practices, boutique chains, and single proprietor offices.

Between the two of them, I was able to regain full use of my arm & shoulder. Before I began PT, I was barely able to drive, shower, do household chores, cook, or sleep without extreme pain. I am now able to do all of the above with ease and full range of motion. Erin and Nick are professional, pleasant to be around, and really know what they're doing. They are truly dedicated to helping people. My first day there, Erin developed an effective home exercise plan for me, which I will continue doing now that formal PT has ended.
