Dr. Jeff was able to help analyze the issue to be linked to rotator cuff due to incorrect posture. My first visit included an initial assessment, heat treatment, some light exercise with an ultrasound. Afterwards they put together a plan for my workout to build strength. Throughout my visits they always challenged me while also ensuring I did not aggravate my pain. Because of the professional and friendly environment along with knowledge and willingness to work an individual-based plan for me, I steadily progressed with each visit. I was able to progress nicely and regained strength and close to full function. We assessed my function, pain level and abilities of my shoulder each visit. Because of my visits with Synergy Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy I am able to do everyday tasks without the pain I previously had. In my experience being treated, he is personable, dynamic and very knowledgeable. Motive takes pride in offering personal care and 1:1 relationship building with each client for continuity of care for duration of treatment. The rhythm of each PT session is 15-30 minutes of hands-on manipulation or treatment, and then oversight of PT exercises. Tyler juggles hectic schedules with multiple patients ensuring everyone receives proper care each visit. My treatments were at both the Berwyn office while being stood up, and at the Frazer clinic. Both of the clinics are hygenic and kept up to date. There is some free weight gym equipment, "cardio" type machines, and tons of traditional PT accessories for treatments/exercises. I have been able to offer input to my progress and observe Tyler offer ways to pivot treatment as needed based on my needs and next steps. Tyler has also been an advocate for my care with physicians or insurance providers, and following up as needed on diagnostics to inform PT care. I am very appreciative of physical rehab/therapy services Motive provided me. I absolutely recommend them and would come back again. My context as a patient is someone who has periodically sought out PT over 10 years at various style clinics...large practices, boutique chains, and single proprietor offices.

Can you please explain to me why…read morewhen I gave the rehab a score of two it said the survey was no longer available, and yet when I pretended to start over and put in a nine, the survey automatically showed up? I decided to try once again, and this time rated the facility of three and again the next page said the survey is no longer available. Clearly they are only allowing people with positive scores to complete the survey? I feel it is very important that I complete the survey due to my current circumstance. On my last visit, I had a feeling something was not right and therefore did not schedule any subsequent visits. The next morning when I woke up, I had a pain in my knee that I have never had. Actually, I've never had knee pain in 25 years!! We went on a cruise next week and then knee pain did not subside at all! It definitely affected our week :(. When we came home, the knee pain continued, and I was hoping that with time it would be OK. I finally went to the Rothman urgent care yesterday since it was not healing on its own. After seeing the swelling, the doctor said that it had to be drained which he did. I asked him if the amount of fluid would be considered a lot, average or minimal. He kind of chuckled and answered it was a lot of fluid with emphasis on the words a lot! The doctor then began to examine my knee and said that it is a meniscus tear. I had to go back to the doctor at Rothman Institute three days later to have the knee drained again, and I am now on crutches and in a brace with a diagnosis of stress fracture in my tibia and a complex meniscus tear. I did reach out to Ivy rehab with this information and they have not bothered to answer my email. Because I have MS and my activities and exercise are already limited, there is really no other explanation for any of this except PT.
