I am so happy I decided to do my therapy with Nick Frolo at Soar. The facility is located at 1800 Rt 35 past Eastern Dental, but BEFORE the car wash. It is so convenient for anyone living in this area. The place is awesome. I like the private rooms where you receive your evaluation and treatments. Nick is knowledgeable and excellent with the treatments, explaining as he does them. I am so impressed with the whole experience and definitely will keep them in mind for future events (hope that doesn't happen). I also felt Marc and Jarod who filled in for Nick, were excellent too. He spent 45 minutes talking with me during my initial appointment and made sure to define every foreign term that he mentioned. He wants to get to know you as a person first, then he treats you. The day after my surgery, he called me personally to see how I was doing. He also checks in with my hand therapist regularly and is always well informed. He is worlds apart from my previous doctor who couldn't remember my name and asked me to remind him what he did and said at my last visit. It never takes more than a few days to get an appointment and the wait time in the office is less than 10 minutes. Excellent experience overall. Dr. Johnson would get more than 5 stars if I could choose that option.

My podiatrist suggested JAG physical therapy on Monmouth Road in Ocean township. It's a great space, very clean, spacious & fully equipped. The entire group of folks working at this facility are warm, knowledgeable & friendly. Upon meeting my physical therapist, Michael Santamaria, I was beyond pleased with his expert knowledge and direct approach for my healing and recovery plan. Sarah was also a wonderful therapist, always there for me, guiding, encouraging & correcting my exercise. Dolly at reception is lovely and unforgettable. They are a wonderful group of folks & you can tell they all enjoy working there. I went to PT diligently for a few months & I'm thrilled to say that I've recovered & am better than I ever expected to be. Although I'm moving on from JAG physical therapy, I like that I can easily implement and integrate the exercises I learned there into my workouts at my gym. I was given them the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, there true colors became apparent. This past Friday I had an early appointment ( so the Dr doesn't have time to get backed up) well I was wrong about that too!! They have a sign that reads " we take patients in according to the time of their appointment! NOT THE TIME THEY ARRIVE! ..... I can understand that, and it's a good system, if they adhered to it, but not the case. I sat almost 2 hours and one person after another were being called before me. I went to the desk and asked if you call people according to time, why were the people that came in well after me were called. Surly they all aren't coming before there time, she turned and said the Dr is busy! I asked if my appointment was for 9 , how many patients could have been in front of me, I've NEVER seen a doctor there that was with me for more than 10 minutes ! .... It's ashamed that they have gotten so big,they forgot about patient service and more about the MONEY ! .... Oh here's one better, I got an email asking me to pay in advance !! Crazy shit !!

I have tried many other places to help me with my SI Joint/Hip and Back issues. I had been living in pain for over 2 years and have not been able to move properly. Living with pain daily and still have to drive, work, household chores or even walk the dog has been next to impossible. I tried chiropractic care for a while. I have nothing against that, but I am a little surprised the chiropractor did not figure out that my hip was rotated. Yes, X-Rays were done. I went to an acupuncturist who tried to sell me on their stretch lab to "get me moving" instead of figuring out the real problem. Kessler and the people there have given me my life back. I am filled with hope and healing now that I can move again. Samantha evaluated me. She listened to me. She did not judge me by my size and with one slight adjustment she figured out what was happening. Sam and the team there created a routine to help rebuild the muscles I hadn't used in years. They are flexible with your PT plan and coach you in the way each individual requires. They do have a full calendar, but I was able to get time slots that worked for me, without much hassle. I have another 4.5 weeks of therapy and am hoping that this therapy helps my issues. The place is clean and has new equipment. Either that or they keep it very clean. I do see them wiping off/disinfecting tables, chairs, devices, etc. after each use. Once you come a couple of times, they already know you and greet you at the door by name. A nice added touch to an experience that for some can be difficult to get through.
