I had never previously enjoyed getting glasses, because I felt very self-conscious, but it was painless and actually fun at this shop. And I got a pair of eyeglasses that is the only pair I've ever worn in all my decades of eyeglass-wearing that got compliments. Sadly, Expressions in Eyewear is no longer in Woodinville--but happily, the business still exists and you can conduct everything online and through the mail at its new address in Idaho. I just got a pair of computer glasses that way to replace my ancient, mangled ones--Glenn figured out my prescription based on the lenses I sent him and popped the new lenses into a frame he thought I'd like--and I did! I'm very, very pleased and look forward to getting my next regular prescription glasses in the near future. In short, great service, great product, great prices!

I happened to stumble on this place completely by accident, and left very pleased with my experience! The owner, Glenn, introduced himself and his business as being "Hands-on" with customers to help them find the best pair of glasses that fit their face, even if it's not a style and/or color they'd normally pick. I'll admit, I was a bit scared of potentially pushy sales tactics, but that ended up being a needless worry. Glenn himself has plenty of experience in the science behind color theory and how it applies to not only appearance and fashion, but how it subtly affects our subconscious. As a graphic designer and science nerd myself, I was happy to let him geek out on me about why he selected certain frames for my consideration. I tried on probably 50 pairs of frames during my first visit, and using Glenn's elimination method, narrowed my choice down to four frames in about 10-15 minutes. I ended up choosing a pair that was similar in style to ones I've worn in the past, but a different color pattern that ended up fitting in well with my wardrobe without being overly flashy. My second visit I went in for some prescription sunglasses and am very happy with the results. I love the variety of options available in terms of coatings, production methods (Digital versus traditional), and just variety of styles in general. Prices range from affordable to high-end designer. Expression's turnaround time is pretty fast, too - my primary glasses came in about 3 days after ordering, and my polarized prescription sunglasses in about 5 business days.

But, 3 days later I received a certified letter from Jake Christensen stating that they will be "discontinuing my dental care due to inappropriate comments" made by me. I have no idea what these comments were as they did not specify but, I would NEVER do or say anything inappropriate to anybody for any reason! HOW DARE THEY accuse me of being inappropriate! I was nothing but polite and respectful to the entire staff!

I had a neck injury that I told them all about yet no one would look at my neck because my pain wasn't centered in my neck. When I walked in to see Tony, he knew it was my neck just by observing me walk into the waiting room. He placed his hand on the back of my neck (the first time he touched me at all) and did a $15 x-ray to confirm his suspicion.. a reverse curvature in my neck. He's taught effective self-care to both myself and my husband without drugs or invasive medical treatments. He is a remarkably gifted practitioner, and a fine human being. His office is welcoming, and his staff (including his lovely wife) are TOP NOTCH. Highly recommended!
