The staff made us feel right at home, and we weren't nervous leaving him here at all. This is only his second week, but so far, we love it. The woman who takes him in the morning is so good with him, and she is genuinely excited to see our baby in the morning. I always feel really good after leaving him there. Then in the afternoon, when I come to pick him up, the ladies give me good feedback, they keep good track of when he slept, ate and went to the bathroom. He's always clean and in the same outfit I packed, so I think they're way better at burping him then me! People already know me by name. The other parents seem very friendly and happy with the daycare as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know the parents and to watch our kid's relationships develop as they grow up together!

There was a baby gate up so he could not have went into the room by himself, he was left there by staff. They were not even aware that he was missing from the room until I arrived. On multiple occasions I came in to pick up my son and found different toddlers crying at the door. This seemed to be the regular routine of just letting kids cry at the door. The final straw was when my son's hand was shut in a door, requiring five stitches. Upon contacting the state of Michigan, the school administration attempted to blame my son (age 22 months) for the incident. They did not advise that medical attention was needed and falsely accused my husband of "ripping" off the bandage, causing the wound to bleed. When we asked about taking the child to the emergency room, we were advised to remove the bandage. The whole incident was poorly handled by the school staff and administration.

They show they care with how they treat the all the kids and my child is able to demonstrate what they teach. He's two and knows his ABCs and colors; he sings daily about everything from songs about different types of animals to parts of his body; and he loves his teachers and his classmates. I like that I can trust the center and their staff with my son, and the app is a good tool to stay up-to-date on his potty habits, that he is eating, and how long he is napping. The children seem happy to go the center on most days, and when they are unsettled and tearful, the teacher seems ready to step in with a hug. I love that the staff takes the time to learn the students' names that aren't in their classes and even directors and the cooking staff seem to have a good rapport with the students. I don't have too many worries when he is in "school." And the fact that I don't have to look for a preschool is key. Only issues I do have are sometimes the communication between the teacher or parents is not as smooth as it should be. I wish they could be contacted through the app and not always through a phone call that usually goes through one of the directors then on to the teacher. We have had times where a call for diapers comes up in the app, but we dropped off diapers that morning. It would just be easier to say that directly through the app. Also, multiple times things like sunscreen, water bottles, or other personal items turn up missing. Seems the system of keeping track of what items are which child's could be a little tighter. I feel like my son has the best start to his school life that I could give him at this point. He learns, has friends, and is very verbal about his time at school and what he sees and does. Is it perfect, no. There are always things that can be done better, and the turnover of teachers was pretty nuts for my son's class in the first year, but I think this is a great place for children.

I have experienced better. The programs are interesting but if they don't like the family for a…read morepersonal reason,they will kick your kid out. My son was involved in the biting issues and came home with deep bites on his back and scratches on his face as other kids stole his binky and bit him afterwards. I have pictures. AFter he was bitten multiplie times, he did bite a kid to protect his cereal. It was explained to me by his pediatrician my son bit from learning by the other kids who were biting him. He said that is an issue with staffing not engaging the kids and helping the toddlers to distract from what ever is causing frustration. After the state came in to investigate the high number of bites in a set time, I chose to stay. When the state called me at the beginning of the investigation, I did ask if we could not do the investigation and the investigator said bites are a health issue and have to conduct an investigation. Here is the report. It really bothers me that I stood up for the facility and asked stop the investigation and the owners still did what they did lately and honestly it hurts. The investigator made her own decisions based on how Wee Excel handled everything. Now after seeing how they handle things, all I can say is be careful. They lie to make their selves look good and do not practice integrity. After the owner lied on forum and continues to, and removes my posts, I have to say I do not recommend them. I am very hurt by their chosen actions and wish they were the professional people I thought they were before they kicked us out and are not able to keep their personal likes out of their business.

It is a pay for program and only open to Oakland County residents, but well worth it. They have a 3 and 4 year-old program that are half days. There is no before or after care available but I am a stay at home mom so that was not a problem for me. The teacher, Mrs. Walker, is OUTSTANDING!! Yes you can say I like the teacher. She has so much patience and understanding with these little guys and us parents. My kids like her so much and that is half the battle with kids. Often we saw children whom she had taught before return to say hello and thank you. You just don't see that these days. In the 2 years we have been with the program my kids have blossomed and learned so much. I am confident that my 5 year-old is now ready for kindergarten. She has been reading and writing since last year and learned many new math and science skills this year. My 3 year-olds speech has improved so much I no longer am considering speech therapy for him. He is a typical boy and was not interested in reading and writing at his age. Not any more! He learned what to do and how to do it without even knowing that was what he was doing. Now he writes on everything (including the walls) and is trying hard to read what his big sister reads. If your looking for a program for you 3 or 4 year-old this is the place for them. The fee is competitive with other programs like it but the teacher makes all the difference!!!
