We actually ended up cutting 3 trees in the end because of the damage observed once the work started (two of them have been growing into each other). We were very worried about an old red oak in particular, which grew leaning towards our shed, and there was only a narrow path available to drop it without damaging property or other trees we cared for, but was in a different direction. Luke and his team put it down safely, exactly where they planned, so -great score on skill and experience! They worked fast, clean, listened to our requests and gave us good advice on how to save some other trees and on possible future concerns. When I attempted to discuss the matter with the owner, Lucas, I was met with rudeness and false accusations. Lucas claimed that he used an equipment weighing less than my 79 lbs lawn mower and that my driveway was already damaged. My neighbor Ken and I can attest that it had only one crack before their visit. Unfortunately after their work it resembles a spiderweb. My neighbor and I are working on filing suit against this company in Guilford County Court. Until this issue is resolved, for liability reason, I strongly advise anyone considering their service to stay away from Acorn Tree Care Plus. Their unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability are concerning.
