I was able to schedule the initial quote with R F Trees with ease via text and they were very flexible with my schedule, responsive, and very communicative in coordinating - From coordinating the time, messaging me when Tony was on his way, and when he arrived (2minutes early, at that!). The quote took 15min, and Tony provided a written quote as well as current dates his crew could be available. As a female homeowner, I dread getting estimates for projects the same way I do when I take my car into the dealer for service...However, Tony was professional, provided a fair, reasonable, and comprehensive quote, and was genuine throughout. After several days, I gave up and called Garrett Tree Services and spoke with Theo,. He came over to the residence very quickly, took a look at the problem and made his suggestions. I thought I was dealing with a major fungus problem with a tree and a large shrub, it really looked bad. But he said that this could be normal aging, treatment wasn't needed at this time because that was very expensive to do, and that we should just prune and clean up the plants and see how they did, revisiting the issue if it recurred. it looked pretty bad and I figured the neighbors thought we were trashing the street. :-) Anyway, Theo turned up the next day with two other people and in about an hour they had the large pear tree pruned and cleaned up, the large shrub in front of the house pruned and trimmed and shaped, and they hauled away a large limb from a water oak that had fallen in the last storm.
