She asked what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction. She couldn't leave the door and apologized that she couldn't walk me over. No worries at all. I just appreciated the kind gesture and great attitude. A few moments later, Sharon came over to assist. Listen, I felt bad for Sharon because I'm the most indecisive person on the planet and poor Sharon stumbled across me. However, she didn't mind at all. She even offered suggestions and told me to take my time because she was there to assist. She helped me pick my tile and grout. Then I got to the register and the cashier... ummm I can't recall her name but I will check the receipt and update the review. She was a Godsend. Then the manager, Tiffany came out to help me load into my car. The whole team was awesome. The store was so clean and well organized. There wasn't a speck of dust inside. Damian was flexible in altering the plan as we moved along, and he went above and beyond to think of ways to make our bathroom as functional as possible. Britts installed hardwood throughout the main floor, approx. 11K 7 years ago, they caused a lot of damage to walls and even the front of our stainless-steel fridge when they tilted it to move it. Getting a response from anyone was a challenge, they kept referring me back to the Britt family member who handled our remodel, we never got it resolved. The new KitchenAid cooktop they delivered had a very clouded appearance to it. This time they just casually told us to contact KitchenAid, not them to have a new one ordered and then call them to reinstall. Really? No responsibility on their part to make the calls, order a new one, make arrangements to get it resolved? We had no shouting matches or arguments with them just have quietly taken our business elsewhere and will again as we remodel our new home and prepare this one for sale. I know our business is probably a drop in the bucket for Britt's - they very much made us feel that way - although we saved for quite a while to do all of our remodels, but supporting small, local businesses has to work both ways. They also have to care about the big and small customers (in total we have spent about 75K with them) and appreciate the loyalty that repeat business represents. That was strike 1. I took a sample of the hard wood to her and she told me she couldn't get it. That was strike 2 - because another salesperson at the store looked at it and told me he could get it and asked if I could leave the sample. I did leave it, Maria quoted the price for me as hard wood and I paid for it. When the flooring arrived, it was wasn't hard wood and Maria had insisted that was what I had paid for -strike 3. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

Rob and his assistant left the work incomplete for months.. and when they did come back, they splintered my toe kicks and cut them too short to reach the wall, leaving unsightly gaps. His assistant managed to damage my prefinished solid oak hardwood floor (the most durable wood floors made) while installing the 2nd toe kick. They left pencil marks and wood saw dust in every drawer (during pull installation). The dishwasher panel was not cut to size, leaving visible gaps. They left a multitude of visible nailheads on the panel. They left several shims under and behind vanities... and even after I begged them to finish the work, they left visible shim between the vanity and wall. Whenever I made a remark, Rob and his assistant would gaslight me, often telling me that they had to leave for the day, taking no accountability at all. At the last visit, Rob even told me he was too tired and that he was done for the day. I eventually had to bring a contractor family member to get Rob to stop denying and evading. I related my issues to Kyle twice (at CTG regional) but he was equally dismissive. So I resorted to having to file a claim to at least get 1/3 of my money back. I never write reviews... however this was particularly painful and draining experience. I had to get another contractor to review the work and he estimated the total repair to be $7,800. Of course CTG will look the other way no doubt. The installation is by far the most important part of their business and the fact that they continuously refuse to own this, is major. In order to complete the work, I plan to hire my own installer and never return to this business once I'm done.
