Antoine provided a quote that priced all the work separately, allowing us to choose the work scope that was within our budget. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. My expectations might have been too high because of all the great reviews. My experience was good, but not excellent. Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable. read more

I contacted Carpet & Flooring Transformers based on the Yelp reviews. I'm so happy I did. Antoine was very professional throughout the entire process - from the initial call to the installation. For the quote, Antoine showed up on time, which is a huge plus for a schedule orientated person like me. We were presented with many flooring options and Antoine was extremely patient as I changed my mind a couple times. We got the quote later that night, so the turn around time was pretty fast. Note: When you accept the quote, you pay for the materials up front. (Paying the balance after the finished project.) Also, there is a 3 percent processing fee for credit card payments, but other forms of payment are accepted. On the day on the installation, the (2) workers showed up within the time frame. Plus plus plus! They were efficient and courteous. They finished two rooms and a hallway (pulling up old flooring and installing new - we moved furniture ourselves) in about 4 hours. I called for a quote, Antoine quickly replied and he stopped by the next night to see what needed to be done. We arranged to have the work done the following Saturday. On Saturday, Antoine arrived on time and quickly went to work. I had a camel hump in my hallway that needed to be re-stretched, within a short time it was flat again. Another room needed stretching, that was done next. The tile in the kitchen floor needed cleaning, especially the grout lines. The kitchen floor looks the cleanest it's ever been. I had the carpet in my great room, master bedroom and hallway cleaned. By the time Antoine was done the carpet looked and smelled great. The results were excellent. I got my appointment on the date I requested and they came on time (that's the one star) However, they came to the job without their water tank full. My leasing office would not allow them to fill it on site. The one guy even said "See, that's why I hate coming to apartments". And Antoine said "Well, it's not my fault". Actually...it is, coming to a job unprepared. They then said they were going to do another job first and come back with water tank filled.....5 hours later. I agreed as I had no choice at that point. 4 hours later Antoine called and said they would come one hour later than I was told earlier. I hired another company for the following day. This company has been absolutely amazing in helping us get or house back together after our dishwasher on the main flooded and cause mold all throughout the basement and ruined our hardwood on the main. As a home owner seeing our house in this state was beyond devastating and stressful.
