One is they lack any decent form of customer service. They don't answer emails regarding any issue until several emails are sent. Then if they answer, the response is cold and not kind or completely not helpful. They do not adequately explain procedures for getting your equipment, they do not include in descriptions what is required for equipment to work properly, like batteries or what not, their instructions for equipment are akin to babble and not helpful and their inability to care about their customer's concern is insulting. I had asked for help and was met with silence for my emails. When I finally get an email I thought it was a response and it was an email requesting I leave the shop a good review but no response from my previous emails I sent. Their equipment is not worth what I paid. For instance, the flashlight was pathetic and I could have purchased a better one for much less. I was not impressed with their equipment at all and found the instructions not user friendly and not helpful. For the money I spent I could have bought from other places and received much better quality and better equipment. I originally came to this shop because of the "Ghost Hunters," television series. Many told me this is where they got their equipment. Well if this is where they got their equipment I am sorry for them. This is just my opinion. To put it in a nutshell, I will NOT buy from here again. I tried to return this equipment but was told I could not due to their return policies. I had gone past the time required for return because I had a hard time picking up my package. I did not know they would not deliver the package without a signature. I would have made arrangements if I had known. Unfortunately, it was then sent to a different post office and so on. I do not blame them for that mishap. I blame them for not giving me advance notice that I would need to sign for the package. I do not routinely buy high dollar value equipment and have it delivered through the mail. When I asked the company why they did not tell me this I got no response. So, by the time I got the package it was over the time for returns. For all of the reasons listed above, I give the GhostStop a very low and very disappointing 1. I give them a 1 because I cannot give a 0. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

For the past three years, I have been "reviewing" my paranormal investigations here on Yelp…read more Invariably, whenever I post a review or a video of my sessions, a few Yelpers reach out to me privately and ask where I purchased my nifty equipment. I tell them I download my instrumental trans-communication (ITC) apps from the Apple App Store and that I purchase the equipment from GhostStop, a mostly-online shop with a small retail presence in Saint Cloud, Florida. If you are serious about ITC, then GhostStop has you covered; on their site, you will find EMF meters, EVP recorders, laser grids, REM pods, and a bevy of other gadgets built specifically for "ghost hunting." My two favorite devices, The Rook and SBox (both of which I will detail here), were created from the ground up by GhostStop. The Rook is a 3D-printed electromagnetic field (EMF) meter that flashes and emits sound when it detects environmental changes. Unlike most EMF meters, which were created to detect sources of electricity in buildings, The Rook was created specifically for paranormal research. The Rook is fortified to block frequencies such as those produced by radios, laptops, and smartphones, making it far less susceptible than other EMF meters to false readings. If you have watched my videos of The Rook in action (if not, I will attach a few to this page), then you have no doubt been impressed by the results. You will notice that The Rook flashes only when I ask a spirit to manipulate it. Typically, I will ask a spirit to make the device light up twice on command to prove his or her presence. I have conducted nearly 60 hours of investigations with The Rook, yet the single nine-volt battery has yet to drain. The Rook is also a resilient piece of technology, having slid off more than a few gravestones during my investigations. As of this writing, The Rook is on sale for $59.99 (regularly $69.99), a great value for an invaluable paranormal tool. My other go-to piece of tech, SBox, offers a multitude of invaluable features, including an ultra-fast AM/FM sweep, line-in functionality, Bluetooth, and an incredibly loud speaker. The AM/FM sweep cycles through live radio at one of four speeds, allowing spirits to manipulate the audio snippets into words, phrases, and even complete sentences. A skeptic would likely argue that the "replies" are nothing more than words captured from live radio, but he or she would be mistaken; when set to the fastest scan rate, the audio consists of nothing but phonemes mere milliseconds in length. It is technically impossible for any word, much less a polysyllabic one or a complete sentence, to come through at such a fast rate. On multiple occasions, I have documented complete words and sentences such as, "Hello," "Salvation Army," "That's incredible!", and first and last names when using the AM/FM sweep feature. I utilize the Bluetooth function of SBox to amplify the phonetic sounds generated by my favorite ITC apps (e.g., Spiritus, DeadWave, and Necrophonic). My iPhone's puny little speaker is far too quiet for me to discern the replies unless I place the phone directly beside my ear, but the speaker on the SBox solves that problem. I simply place the SBox in my shirt pocket, place my phone in my pants pocket, and investigate the environs. I just checked GhostSpot's website and noticed that the SBox is on sale for $69.99, another unbeatable value given the quality and functionality. In the near future, I hope to purchase several more bits of tech, including a REM pod that comes highly rated by my friends in the ITC Collective. If you are new to the field of ITC, then I would highly recommend perusing GhostStop's website and familiarizing yourself with the technology. Much of the technical jargon might seem daunting, especially for a newbie, but the devices are mostly intuitive and GhostStop's team is always happy to answer questions. Just keep in mind that spirit communication requires time, patience, and a connection to the spiritual realm. Expect to fail often, but continue practicing. In time, you will begin capturing phenomena. I have a tendency to speak like Egon Spengler from "Ghostbusters," so I apologize if the preceding review was pedantic. My reviews typically score ridiculously low on the Flesch-Kincaid readability chart, and this review is no exception. Please remember, however, that polysyllabic, prescriptive grammatical constructions -- albeit anomalous and idiosyncratic in canonical elocution -- are not inherently indicative of circumlocution, for I am no Gasconade but a magnanimous, perspicacious lad whose concupiscent ruminations on coruscant paranormal manifestations are simultaneously proficuous and fastidious, never pedantic floccinaucinihilipilifications, as posited by innumerable sesquipedalophobes.
