I'm a very courteous rider, and whenever someone was walking toward me on the sidewalk, I would simply move into the street, let them pass, and then ease back into a driveway since there is no bike path along Lakeview Drive. On one of those driveway transitions, I encountered an unexpected two-inch saw-cut curb that sat above the street. On a scooter with 9 1/2-inch wheels, the moment my front tire hit that raised edge, it stopped instantly and threw me face-first onto the concrete. The accident split my upper lip open, knocked out my two front teeth, fractured my left cheekbone, and broke my left little finger. Being new to Florida, I had no idea where to turn. While I was in downtown Sebring, I noticed the Burnetti, P.A. office and walked in just before Christmas. There was one staff member working that day, and after listening to what had happened, she told me all of their attorneys were excellent. I told her, "I need one of your best. Who would you trust if this were your family?" Without hesitation, she suggested Attorney Dylan Griffin, describing him as "a bulldog." Because Dylan is based in Lakeland and I'm in Sebring, we met by phone. He spent as much time with me as I needed, carefully explaining my case and answering every question. He introduced me to his paralegal, Alex, who has been absolutely wonderful throughout the process. I've documented everything with photographs, ambulance reports, emergency room records, and ongoing medical treatment, and Alex has always made herself available whenever I've had questions or needed guidance. What has impressed me most is that Dylan has personally checked on me more than once--not just to discuss the case, but to see how I was doing and whether I needed any additional medical help. That level of personal concern has meant a great deal to me. My case is still moving forward, so this review reflects my experience to date. Everything I've written here is based on how Burnetti, P.A. and Attorney Dylan Griffin have treated me throughout the process so far. Once my case has been fully resolved, I'll come back and update this review to reflect my complete experience from beginning to end. You have to apply online and if they are interested, they will send you an email to set up and interview. The interview will be conducted here. For those who are already employed by Walt Disney World and are looking to change jobs, for instance those looking to change which Park, Resort, Restaurant, etc. they already work in, or those looking to change their position such as attractions, QSR, merchandise, etc. It's also where you come if you are part-time and want to go full-time or vice-versa. I've been in the building a couple of times with hubby for various reasons and like everything else at Disney, it's very nice. Very clean! Really cool decorations everywhere! Amazing art on the walls. Brooks did an excellent job of…read morelosing my case, the question is, where do I start with their lack of professionalism? 1) they didnt send a preservation of evidence letter to the gas station I was hurt at, so the gas station owners got to delete the video footage without any consequences. 2) I experienced a constant turn over for a legal team- 6 or 7 case managers and 3 attorneys over my time as their client. None of them paid attention to detail, I was just a case number for them to close, win or lose. 3) THEY LOST MY ENTIRE MILITARY MEDICAL RECORD DOCUMENTS. I dropped off a file of over 500 pages in 2022 and found out in 2025 (as the dismissal Hearing was approaching) they didnt know what they did with my entire service medical records. These records were direct evidence of my health decline post gas station incident. 4) I singlehandedly laid out my case with med records, google maps data, photo evidence, cataloged opposing counsels inconsistent testimony, etc. Yet they still lost my case. 5) Misinformation was a serious issue; a week before the case was lost the attorney told my husband and I if we lost, we'd have to file for bankruptcy. The day the case was lost, the attorney said he would have to call the medical providers to negotiate down the medical bills. A week after the loss, the same attorney told me it would be best to disappear and hopefully the medical providers wouldn't pursue me financially and would use my bills as a tax write off. 6) They have a "Client's Bill of Rights" in their representation agreement, and in newsletters they proudly send out. Read the Bill of Rights and know they are not going to fulfill their end of the agreement. If your case requires any skill, attention, or effort, this is not the law firm for you.
