Pricing was $600 if no monument would be affected by the work and $2,000 if a new monument needed installation. For my project, a new monument was ultimately not needed. Basically we had to get a survey done on our property because we were building a new home and didn't want to build into the property lines. So the city ordered us to get a property survey done. Matt provided us with a good price and went on to explain the process of what he was going to do and gave us timelines on when it can be done. Very professional and he has a great personality. Our property didn't have any monuments and Matt had to set all of those, which were very difficult. After Matt did all of this work and submitted the survey to the county. At the end of the call, Brett stated he would work on the contract and send over for review. The following week, I called Reverence to better understand the timeline for contract creation so I could maintain realistic expectations; I was told I should have the contract that day (January 13) or the following day (January 14). I contacted Reverence on January 20, after not receiving a response and was advised a message would be sent to Brett for an update. I again did not receive a response (no callback nor email) and contacted Reverence on January 22 and again on February 2, and was provided a similar response (that I should receive the contract soon if not today or the next). I subsequently left a message on February 4, indicating that I no longer wished to proceed with their services and would look elsewhere. I have no doubt that Reverence provides customers with solid service once contracted, however, I find it is equally important to effectively communicate with prospective clients to ensure transparency. I would have gladly waited a few more weeks if that was the standard and was communicated to me. Hopefully future clients will have a better experience.

Alta Land Survey has completed many surveys but mainly ALTA Surveys. Very often the closing of a loan is dependent on a quality Survey. ALTA over the last 10-years has responded quickly, professionally, to the needs of our schedule with quality product everytime. They have completed small jobs as well as large jobs out of town. The customer support, and experience is excellent. But most of all for me is there timely support, excellent work product, quick response to comments, and follow-up to make sure there were no issues. I cannot recommend Miguel and ALTA for any size survey for the mentioned reasons above. When I called this afternoon, the person who answered the phones asked what kind of survey I needed in which I requested a boundary survey. She immediately said that Alta was far to busy of a company to bother with boundary surveys and they were focusing only on construction surveys. My issue is not that the company is 'too busy', but in the lack of questions asked about my project-- not even a question on the address of the project. If more questions were asked she may have discovered that I happened to be needing a survey for a very large project on 4 parcels and, that could have led to the construction survey as well down the line. We never got there as I was shut down immediately and quite curtly. An additional comment would be to have a recommendation ready of a different company to refer the work to if that is not Alta's focus right now. I would have found that a very acceptable response to being busy. If either of those things had happened I would not be writing this review right and would still think about calling Alta next time I have a project.
