My apologies to Jan and Donna since this review is a long time coming. We have been going to J&D for many years and can't say enough good things about them. Not only do they do a stellar job with invitations, have unique and adorable things on display, great balloon bouquets, but they give so many invaluable tips from their long years in the business. My son and son-in-law decided on a wedding with a Gatsby theme. Jan and Donna designed an Art Deco invitation which was truly the most beautiful invitation we had ever seen. They were literally getting phone calls from friends and relatives complimenting them on how exceptionally beautiful they were. I don't normally write reviews but I felt I needed to share my experience with everybody. Jen made my engagement party to be memorable. It was so hard for me to find the right balloon colors (rose gold, gold and champagne) but Jen had a nice selection of what exactly I was looking for. My balloons came out perfect!! Long standing establishment located in a bustling strip mall. This is not a stationary store. This is where you go to get everything you need for your special event. Customizable everything's! I went today to pick up balloons. My galpal Shelly reminded me of this place. I haven't been inside since my Sweet 16 (my mom brought me here to make invitations). Besides customizing everything for your special event, they also do balloon delivery! I already had my balloons in hand when I found out. I went here to have invitations made for a friend's baby shower using a digital file I ordered from Etsy. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly. I noticed that there were return customers in the store by the conversations going on. They all seemed really pleased which was comforting. The file I received from etsy was flawed and the lady who does the actual printing on the site caught the mistake, checked in with us and fixed it before printing them out. (WHEW!) I thought I wanted the invites printed on one paper, but they suggested something different, printed both option and let me decide. I went with their recommendation and was majorly pleased with the end product. They were incredibly nice throughout from start to finish of my order. If you need invites, party favors etc, go here. This place is a hidden gem. Jan is absolutely amazing and what she does (and hilarious to boot). My fiance and I were looking for a wedding invite that would wow our family and please both of our tastes and Jan hit it out of the park. We went to Jan first when looking for invites and loved her immediately. She had tons of books of invites and let us spend as much times as we needed looking. When we first walked in, she asked us for examples of invites we liked. I had some ideas from Pinterest, but honestly had no idea what I really wanted. Jan pulled 4-5 books of invites based off of my pictures and even pulled some invites that she had recently created for real couples so we could get an idea of her work and how customizable her work is. Jan stayed with us 2 hours passed the stores closing time and by the end we had a much clearer picture of what we wanted and had fallen in love with an invite. Throughout all of her time with us at this first appointment, she never made us feel pressured into purchasing anything with her and in fact encouraged us to check out other stores before making a final decision. We went to two other invitation shops and although they were beautiful, none compared to Jan. So, we returned and picked the invite we fell in love with. Jan worked with us to customize the invite to our liking and budget always being honest about the things we liked that costed more so that we could make a decision about whether we found it necessary in our budget. After ordering, Jan emailed us our proof and we were allowed to go back and forth as many times as we needed to make sure the invite was perfect (9 times for us). We did the same for guest addressing. Just to note- you can order a real proof but it costs money and we did not find it necessary to do this. The invites came in in the time frame that Jan provided to us and they were STUNNING. We sent them out on Monday and I have already gotten tons of texts from family and friends about how gorgeous these invites are. Overall, I would use Jan 100 times again and 100% refer anyone and everyone to her. Let her know Sarah and Anthony sent you! :) read more
