The arrangement cost $97 and when I spoke with Anna, she assured me that I was going to get what was on the website. When I called and wanted a refund, they wanted to give it to me but would pick up the flowers that I sent...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Hi folks! Welcome to Blossom Health Florists in Oceanside. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day!! (Yikes!) I feel I have procrastinated long enough. Valentine's Day is the really big holiday Where there is no option to mess up! Don't disappoint your mother, Friends, Wifey, Hubby or important loved ones. Having checked off all the other Valentine's boxes, it was now time for the all important flowers. Seriously, if you don't walk through the door with flowers you might as well just spread the blanket out on the couch for the next week or so. The folks that sell flowers out of the white buckets on the side of the road were a no go this year and the $5 Flushing bouquets are only ok for the next day. Then you get the wilted blooms and vase water poured over your head. Seriously stumped, I turned to Yelp for help. My Yelp friend Jason C. frequents this Blossom Bouquet boutique and has always been satisfied. His glowing review brought me right to Blossoms door. Their big free parking lot conveniently right in the front and was just what I needed in the rain today. Walking inside, I was cheerfully greeted and professionally counseled. Us dumb guys sometimes need some help in making the right choice. I was immediately impressed with the freshness, quality and beautifully arranged bouquets. All ready to rock and roll in the big flower fridge..Yay! Wife had indicated that she wanted RED roses. And Wifey is absolutely the Queen on Valentine's Day. The gentleman at the front counter offered to freshly make up a big bouquet of the dozen long stemmed red roses for me. Very cool. He also allowed me to make suggestions to customize the big bouquet to Please the Queen. I could see their crew of workers busy in the back, getting everything ready as their big day is tomorrow. I was amazed it wasn't even a few minutes and the beautiful bouquet was all ready to roll. The gentleman was also so kind to carry the giant rose bouquet out to my car for me. I wish Yelp had more than 5 stars to award to Blossom. Absolutely 5+ stars in terms of their freshness, quality, courtesy and professionalism. I don't know what happened today, but I ended up canceling my order 45 minutes later. The last time I ordered from them for a family in mourning, the arrangement was breathtaking and the gentleman who took the call couldn't have been lovelier. Today was awful. The names on the condolence card were spelled incorrectly, I called back to ask that they be changed, and requested a revised invoice, which never arrived. Then realized, even after I had provided the address of the funeral home, saw it was being sent to a different location. The woman did sound busy, but she was abrupt and rude as though she couldn't be less bothered. read more

I was looking for a florist near my daughter's new home. Someone I could keep giving my business to. The women answering the phone insisted I was calling the wrong place when I asked about a Rose promotion listed prominently on their website. I read to her what it said and she insisted I was making it up and eventually harshly claimed it must be an old promotion. I understand mistakes in advertising and could have overlooked that, but I'm not interested in giving my business to overly rude people. read more

This is my go to florist, last Sunday i called them 3 hours before they closed because i realized with everything going on i forgot to get flowers for my dads funeral. I spoke with Peter at Blossom Heath Florist and from the start of our conversation through the arrival of the flowers to our daughter, we were confident that it would be perfect, and so it was. Peter was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, reassuring and aimed to please. Our daughter was very happy and delighted with the beautiful bouquet. Ordered my bridal bouquet here because we really liked Peter when we sat down to meet with him. I asked for light pink roses and showed a picture of what shape I wanted the bouquet to have (tight, no foliage, very fat and round roses in a perfect circle, sort of like a mushroom top). Over the phone the service was pretty short and a little but rude but in person it felt ok. I felt heard. When I see my bouquet the day of the wedding, I was really disappointed - the flowers were only light pink in the center, the rest was a pale yellowish beige color that I hated. The shape was not at all how I had requested (and paid extra for!). Also, each rose had a tacky rhinestone in the middle which I didn't want (and had to remove one by one)- I had been told the rhinestones would be on the ribbon of the bouquet, not the roses themselves. I had no choice but to use the bouquet since it was literally 2 hours before my wedding but it was disappointing. Wouldn't return. read more

Orderd a tropical bouquet. Was told the tropical arrangement was their best seller. It was $74 not including tip. I specifically mentioned the names of tropical flowers. I said if you don't have some of, or one of these flowers then that's OK. After each flower mentioned, I asked if they had that flower. I didn't get a response if they had those flowers of not. But I had incorrectly assumed that most of these flowers a florist would carry. I even asked for tropical leaves, & mentioned their names. Thought the price was high for a summer arrangement, but agreed. With tax & tip I paid $102. I rang my mother to ask about her arrangement. While bouquet was large & quality was good, not one of the requested flowers were in the arrangement. Not one. Asking for birds of paradise is not a crazy or rare request. Blossom Heath just did our wedding on 8/13/16. I was floored by how beautiful everything was! Everything was delivered on time. My bouquet and the girls bouquets were gorgeous. The flowers were so fresh. They stood up to the extremely hot temperatures of the day and still looked great at the end of the night. The church arrangements were gorgeous, as were the centerpieces. The centerpieces were even prettier than the sample we were shown when we booked them. Aside from being completely in love with the flowers, we were equally impressed with Peter, who helped us with our event. He was so knowledgable and honest about what works and what doesn't. He was open to all my ideas and helped me design the perfect wedding flowers. He was personable and made my husband and I feel like we were very important customers. I love Blossom Heath and I have had nothing but positive experiences with all members of their staff for over 15 years. They are magicians and lifesavers! They always have the most unique flowers on-hand (ex: my mother's favorite, Birds of Paradise which is tropical and pricey elsewhere) and can fit anything you want into any budget ($20 bucks, of course...they make it look like $50...$75 looks like a million!) The flowers are always fresh and they really know how to cater to last minute requests Example, I ran in on the day of my brother's wedding about an hour before guests were arriving - my mom forgot to get flowers for the house to spruce it up....they made three arrangements of different sizes for different tables which were all perfectly sized and all three for under $100 - that was my budget. They delivered within an hour instead of having me wait there. Amazing job. My mother kept insisting to give me money because she thought I spent at least $200!! Small gift shop next-door with stuffed animals and assorted candies. They were even able to pick out a perfect stuffed animal as part of a flower arrangement for my god daughter...and the guy was definitely unsure of how to pick out stuffed animals for little girls (I was on the phone). Today at the wake I searched and searched for the flowers and they were not there. I called the florist and their response was that there was a mix up. I was embarrassed for my loved ones who asked me to take care of ordering the flowers and I was disgusted at the florist. If you really want your flowers to get somewhere try a different florist. I don't know what they do with their flowers, however they are the freshest most vibrant and long-lasting, that I have ever seen.
