So needed to get the exterior trim finished up since it hadn't been painted in 10 years. Searched…read more"painters" and came up Pro Painter in New Castle, along with several others but thought I would give him a try since he had free estimates. Checked the website (and Yelp) and figured I needed to talk with Jose G. Called number and answered "Hello?" Me: "Uhh, Jose?" "Yeah?" So it went like that for few but I had the right place. Jose is Hispanic but understood everything I asked when I slowed down a bit. He said no problem on an estimate a couple of days later and to text him my address. So he stopped out, we reviewed the work, he quoted a price (one I was very happy with at the time). Told him I would talk over with my wife and get back. Texted couple of days later and we agreed on a price. He wanted to come over on Saturday and start pressure washing then paint Monday. Worked for me! Blasted out all areas on Saturday. ..was there for a couple of hours at most. Then came out on Monday at 8am to paint. Caulked and finished all surfaces, laid down a coat of primer then two coats of Sherwin Williams super paint. Cleaned up and was done by 6pm. One man show with 6 extension ladders. I'm very happy with how it turned out...looks brand new. Clean up was OK. Had some left over caulk laying about but nothing major. Would have taken me 3 solid days anyhow. Licensed, bonded, insured? I have no idea...not an Angie's List guy myself. Price was right, he seemed honest and nice enough, work looked good. Will defintely call Jose for future work.
