You should definitely come to this car wash. Although the actual car wash system is small, the staff then take over and clean the car very well. Only problem I had when I came here? Two of the pressure washers needed maintenance, but it wasn't too bad, since I know they'll fix it. The prices are fair and reasonable for such a good car wash. I parked my 13 year old, banged up Honda outside my apartment after I had it detailed at J and J and my neighbor, who never notices anything, stopped my wife to congratulate her on buying a new car. Words cannot describe how happy I am with the cleaning. There were years-old, seemingly permanent stains on every cloth seat and rug and they literally look brand new. The cost was half what I was quoted elsewhere. Easily the best $175 I have spent on my car in all the time I have owned it. I have since visited their location semi-regularly. Although my first visit wowed me, I've since found the location to be dependable but simply 'good' in the service department. They offer machine car wash and hand interior cleaning at affordable price and quick turnaround. However, many times they leave a stagnant pool of water in my rubber mat. My first experience at J&J was very "meh." When I pulled in there were absolutely no instructions about what to do, where to go, etc. The guy stood there staring at me with a blank expression. Eventually I flagged down a younger kid to answer my questions. The sign on the building indicated my inside/outside car wash would be $14, but I was charged $22. Ok, no big deal... The waiting room was on the other side of the bldg and I wanted to stay with my car - so I chose to stand and wait in the stall while they worked. There was little to no communication with the employees - they just assume you know what's happening and where you're supposed to go. The inside/outside cleaning process took about 20 mins. They did a fantastic job vacuuming and cleaning my floors, including my floor mats. However, my dash was left with several dusty spots and my windshield was not thoroughly cleaned. Also, the lunch I had picked up along the way was missing when I got back in the car - so either they ate it or threw it away. Not a terrible experience, but a very half ass job. read more

Well, I am giving them 3 stars because generally speaking they are a good service, friendly and quick. Today I decided to treat both myself and my car to a "deluxe" wash for the tune of $21! Like normal the service was quick and friendly, and they did a Good job...the problem is that today I paid for a GREAT job, but nothing was different from the regular $14 job I normally purchase. The vacuuming and inside cleaning was mediorce at best and the only door jam that was cleaned was that of the drivers door. The pics below show the dirt I pulled simply wiping down my center console and the second photo is the dirt pulled from the passenger door. Wow! This place was extremely fast!!! I think I was here for less than 10 minutes! I got the full service which was $11.99 (the website says $11). It includes a wash on the outside, vacuum on the inside, and window wipe down on the inside. My car was so sparkly when I left here!! I had a groupon which was super easy to redeem. All I had to do was take the ticket that was given to me in the beginning and hand that with my groupon to the lady working the cashier. Fast and easy! The best!! read more

This place is definitely not worth the money. They pretty much didn't even clean the interior, the so called vacuum job they did was pretty much done in 15 secs. They didn't even bother lifting up the car mats to get anything underneath it. The interior wasn't dried completely from the "cleaning". The automatic car wash was decent but didn't clean away some of the dirt left on the car. The upside is this place is wicked fast. When I arrived there was a very long line of private vehicles as well as police vans and other city vehicles. Once I had waited in my car for around 15 minutes, I made it to the car wash bay and they told me I could exit my vehicle and wait inside. From there it was only about 5 more minutes until my car was ready. The downside: the same price or a few dollars more than my normal car wash, and this place uses the 'soft touch' method where your car gets sent through the mechanical scrubbers. If you are particular about your paint or have a new car/new paint job then keep in mind that the scrubbers can leave lots of tiny little scratches in the clear coat. Overall, Im pleased and would recommend this place if youre in a hurry or if you dont have a brand new paint job. read more

So I got the $20 hand car wash and had to wait the appropriate amount of time to get it down. I would say from time in to time out it took about 35-40 minutes so definitely not something to do when you are short on time. To be fair, my car was dirty. Like real dirty. Like I bought my car in August and didn't get it washed until now dirty after it battled through all of winter. However, considering how dirty the car was I was satisfied with my car wash. Just satisfied though. Reason being is that when I reviewed my car and did a quick walk around, I noticed a bunch of areas that could have been noticed or cleaned if they had just did a quick walk around. Or maybe they did and the lines were too long. Anyways, car could have been washed better with more care which was not provided. But in terms of a wash it was I'd say about...90% clean? Inexpensive, fast and effective car wash. Generally I'm not known for washing my car often. My grandfather would hate that I'm admitting it publicly but it's true. I use my car to as a way of getting around and typically don't take the time to think about what it looks like. But after the recent blizzard we had I figured it was time for a wash. I stopped by J&J for a basic full service (automatic) wash early this morning. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The car was cleaned inside and out but the inside of the door jams weren't cleaned all that well. There was visible black dirt when I got home and stepped out of the car. The windows, body of car and inside mats were all cleaned well enough. Seven dollars for a basic outside wash is an incredible value in my opinion. I'm not sure paying an additional $7 to have the floor mats vacuumed and inside windows cleaned is worth it though. That seems kinda steep to me. But hey, there's a price for convenience right? The cashier and all the guys washing the cars were extremely friendly and professional. I'll be a return customer for sure. read more

I am pretty sure their car wash dented and scratched my car. The front passenger side door has a dent and several uniform parallel (perfectly straight) scratches that match perfectly with their machine that spins the cloth. When I informed the lady of the scratch and dent, she immediately started saying " NO NO NO NO NO...NO NO NO NO" even before we got to my car and continued with " NO NO NO NO NO" after I showed her the dent and scratches. I would advise anyone that values their car to stay away from them and if you do get your car washed by them, look out for dents and scratches! The lady was rude and immediately dismissed me. Oh, on top of that they really do a crummy job of washing your car! I have one panel that was completely missed by their crappy machine and all 5 people drying the car at the end. Quick and an inexpensive for an exterior wash with a hand dry, when you first pull up you see the sign that says soft cloth wash typical of machine washes, so I didn't realize that they do hand car washes too., although they're a bit on the pricey side for those. This isn't my usual place for getting my car washed, and I'm happy with my regular place which I have an unlimited wash plan. But sometimes I can't get there, so this is a good alternative. Terrible. I had crab juice spill in my car. They said it might cost more to get the smell out..I agreed. I paid close to 300 for them to get the smell out. It smelled no better and they barely detailed. I had my car detailed before and it looked like a new car. They missed so many areas of inside and out I cant even begin to list. I really just cannot believe how unprofessional and rude they were. I asked them to clean out the grass that got caught under my front bumper they said nothing and walked away from me. Threw my keys back at me. I got down on my hands and knees after paying $30 for a car wash and did it myself. As I drove away I realized they didn't live down any of my seat - steering wheel or anything like that on the inside. I got an exterior car wash barely and the interior floor mats even though they are plastic are just soaking wet. Like they left standing water in my car. I think the guys did a great job on my car wash. For about $12 they washed and hand dried the outside of the car, vacuumed the inside and cleaned the inside windows. It was quick and my car was gleaming. I have a black car that looks horrible as soon as it gets dirty, so I get my baby cleaned often :) I'm going to look into some of their detailing services, hopefully they'll be as good and inexpensive. read more

So angry! I just left from here. Came here for a car wash and the end result is a cracked windshield and a few indentations on my window that were not there before pulling in. The lady on duty, Gayle, insisted that I had existing small cracks on my windshield previously, which was not the case. When I explained to her that they were not there previously, she again told me they HAD TO BE and suggested that we pull the tape. I agreed, knowing that they were not there and of course, they weren't able to view footage -- at least while I was there. Of course I was irate, main reason being that she continued to insist that the small cracks and indentations where there before pulling in when I know for a fact they weren't -- hence my eagerness to view the surveillance. I left with a promise to receive a call back because apparently, the manager wasn't available. How convenient Getting a police report. I did the super wash. It was super quick also. This place is good if you want a quick wash... but they are certainly not very detail-oriented. Sadly, this is my third car wash over the last year. The first two were wonderful. Always did a great job with great service, BUT they closed out of nowhere, so someone told me about this spot (didn't say they were good, just told me about it) so I decided to check it out as I really needed my car cleaned. This place was a fool. Brought my car in today to be cleaned - inside and out. I got the $20 package, which I believe is like the "deluxe" hand car wash package that also included an interior cleaning as well. First of all, I wasn't feeling the place in general. As weird as it may sound, I'm used to smaller car washes. And there were a lot of police and city vehicles there being serviced. I figured that could be a good thing. This one was extremely busy and cars were getting in and very quickly. This may sound like a pro (which I guess it is?) but not at the expense of my car being clean. Once I pulled in, they told me to get out. Cool. 20 minutes later, my car was ready. I did a general inspection. Outside was cool. Inside was clean (but hadn't been cleaned in like a month, so of course it looked clean in comparison) so I went inside to pay. The woman inside was paying and the cashier was explaining to her that they don't discount the particular car wash package she had gotten. The woman said okay, paid, and left. So, because my I happen to work for a large organization that has discounts all over the city and I saw a company car there, I asked the cashier what discounts were available, to which she drily replied, "Um... None." I was like, "oh okay, I heard you mention a discount to the woman in front of me. Just thought I'd ask especially with all the city vehicles here." She said, "Oh no. We have a city contract." She handed me my receipt and turned around to finish her conversation. PERHAPS THIS CITY CONTRACT WAS THE REASON THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB CLEANING MY CAR. I was used to paying $15-20 to get my car, so the price here I thought would get me the same for my money. $20. No. They didn't bother to clean the bumper. There is obvious dirt and other residue on the outside of the car, but the inside is where I was most dissatisfied. I am used to driving my car away looking like I just bought it. There was still grim in the cup holder compartment. I guess they closed it up thinking it would cover up that they didn't clean it all the way. There was still dirt around the edge of the door on the carpet. For maybe $10-12, this may have been acceptable. But for $20 (their "premium" package), this shit was completely unacceptable. Its annoying that I don't have a place to consistently get my car cleaned now, but this certainly won't be it. I gave them a star for how fast it took them to do a shitty job. read more

This place is mediocre. I went here to get my car detailed after a little kid threw up in my back seat and I couldn't get the horrible smell out. I got the most expensive package they had and feel like I could have done a better job. The stains in the back seat where the kid threw up were still visible after they washed it but it did wash out after I asked them to clean it a second time. My car mats were still dirty even though the package said the mats would be shampooed. I do a better job of cleaning the mats when I wash them! It seemed like they just wet the mats and called it a day. Also there was still a huge smudge of dirt on my bumper even though the package said they would wash and wax the car. I read some good reviews about this place so I was very disappointed about how my car turned out. Why bother calling it a DETAIL if they're not going to be detailed in cleaning the car! read more

I have been going to JJ Car Wash for over 4 years. To be honest, their work was never 5 star, but the price was reasonable, they are close by, and I don't have a luxury car. My high end luxury car - if I had one - would need to be spotless inside & out, so I wouldn't take it here. But I digress. So their 3.5 star work was enough for me. My last visit however, on 5/27/17, left me with no desire to ever patronize them again! About 15 minutes after leaving the car wash, I saw an ant crawling on the dashboard. I kept calm, killed it and thought nothing more about it. When I drove my car the next day, I saw about 12 ants crawling around the gear shift and dashboard. I rushed back home. Totally creeped me out! How the heck did these ants get there? I know for a fact that there were no ants before I visited JJ Car Wash. How do I know? Glad you asked. I have insectophobia and would have noticed! I'm kind of hypervigilant about bugs & insects. Always looking for 'em. Cuz I HATE 'em! So I was baffled as to how ants could show up in my car AFTER having it washed!! DISCLAIMER: I have no evidence that JJ Car Wash caused my car to have ants. Hence, the 1 star. But....I can think of no other way ants could show up in my car 15 minutes AFTER getting "The Ultimate" car wash. Exterior washed & waxed, tires dressed, windows wiped inside & out, mats washed, interior vacuumed, and exterior hand dried (wiped). I'm left wondering were there ants on JJ's vacuum that were somehow transferred to my car? Did one of the worker's rags have ants on it? I don't know. But I do know they have lost me as a customer!! I haven't driven my car for 2 weeks!! I put down some ant baits, and the number of ants I see - during my biweekly inspections with a flashlight - seem to be decreasing. This has been traumatic for me. Worried that I'll get into an accident if I see ants crawling near me and freak out. Praying I won't see even ONE ant as I prepare to drive my car to a hand car wash that I trust so they can thoroughly vacuum my interior. read more
