I received a free car wash from Goodyear Car Care on Wabash Street in Chicago, whom I highly recommend. I took my car in expecting to get it cleaned but I got it back dirtied, smudged and unbecoming of a car that was just cleaned. It looks like they simply wet the car and towel dried it. Maybe it's the free, you get what you paid for special. With the results I received, I will not return. I am assuming someone will respond with a tired excuse. If they do, I sure home is a good one and includes them taking accountability. It's likely they will ask me if I reported to anyone at the car wash. My guess is that it was intentional. I cannot be convinced they did not see all the unclean spots on the car. I was disappointed I was the only car and like 10 workers. And I had to ask 4 times to please wipe the doors because they didn't even wipe the dirty off let alone dry the car. One worker actually stepped up and sort of wiped the doors. For a $30 car wash you would think they would at least get a car clean. And for no reason both front seats were pushed all the way back so you are literally laying down inside. For that price I think I will drive a little further for better service. read more

i got the platinum wash and was pleased. i only do hand washes and this is the spot especially if, after, you want to cruise down LSD in a clean chevy or just cruise north on state street. I have been coming here for YEARS getting my cars washed, and recently just bought another vehicle (used) and while it was already a nice looking car, a few of my friend's mentioned that a good wax and buff would really bring it back to life. The detailing places around my area in the south suburbs were all booked and$400... So I brought it here and I was AMAZED at how they got my car looking. It looked like it was right off the showroom floor! Marcel ( the boss) was extremely nice and told me he'd call me in advance when the car was close to being finished so I could arrange my ride in time and he did just that. Both have a "Silver Package" for exterior and interior (same offerings). The place up North charges $17 and this place charges $24. Basically They SUCKED. My car wasn't throughly wiped down, still had drips and streaks. Just simple details like the corners and obvious areas were still dirty. wheels were not wiped clean. interior window had streaks and certain areas were not wiped clean. Today it's really cold outside. First off, I've been to this car wash plenty of times and did a great job except for today. This time was different. I got the silver package which includes inside and outside cleaning and air freshener. I received half of all services. I'm so glad I checked my car before entering in my opened door. I guess they thought I would jump right in and drive off. Nope! I checked my car and it was horrible: windows dirty, half cleaned, outside residual still present, no dressing on my tires and the console and door jams not wiped down. I've gone here before and they did a decent job but today they killed me. They didn't vacuum at all on the inside of the car blaming it on my dog hair, when it looked the same when I brought it in, so they never vacuumed. They're supposed to wipe down the inside and the door frame and the middle part and they did a half assed job on that. They pulled up my format on my driver side and took the whole hook out of the carpet which now I have to figure out how to put the again. I complained to him, and all he did was give me excuses. I've been coming here for a few years. They do good work moody times. I usually get the premium wash. It's the best value. Staff are always friendly. I've never had any problems with items missing from my car afterwards. They have a nicee little lounge with free coffee available while you wait. The lines can be extremely long on days following snowfall/salting. And sometimes they don't do the greatest job cleaning the side windows and mirror UPDATE - September 2020 I feel like the quality here has been slipping for a while now. It seems like there's a lot of turnover with the guys doing the washing and it has not been for the better. Today I got my car back and they literally tried giving it back to me with two giant bird poop spots still on the trunk. They didn't wipe down the inside either. Sad. This place used to be quality. Lots of staff here, they have two lanes to try and help expedite when it gets busy. They have specials during the week as well. They do a good job on getting the car clean, never had an issue with it not being clean or damage. They also have a waiting area that is pretty clean and nice to wait in. read more

First, let me say I take writing reviews seriously and when I say JESUS CLEANED MY CAR THROUGH THE HANDS OF THESE MEN...our car was IMMACULATE!!! We tipped them but I still feel like I didn't tip them enough! Our van hasn't been cleaned since pre-COVID & pre- baby now Toddler....so 3 years. We use our van for a dog business we have and for all family outings as this is the only car we own. I wish I had pre photos because our van was a HOT MESS! I'm talking, dog hair, dog food, cat litter, dirt, sand, apple sauce, yogurt, spilled drinks, dropped ketchup, a HOT MESS!!! I have been going here for over 10 years - and even have a multi-wash pass that I purchased. But, my recent experiences have made me wonder if I should go back or just walk away from the balance left on my pass. The quality of the wash is deteriorating where spots are left unwashed (or washed poorly), the drying is patchy at best leaving wet spots all over for "air drying" and, today, the sequencing for the wash was absent. They formed three rows when I pulled in and my row was not moved while the other rows (whose cars were behind me when I arrived and pulled in to wash bay) were moved ahead leaving my car to languish. They moved at least 2 (maybe 3) cars that were behind me when we pulled up ahead of me - and my car would probably still be standing there if I did not complain vociferously. When I asked the Manager about this, he said cars are washed strictly in the order in which they come in. He even went to check the numbering of the receipts to confirm what I had complained about but didn't bother to come and inform me what he found or to apologize for the screw up. Overall, I am very disappointed and will likely take my business elsewhere - for sure once I use up the pass, but maybe even before that.Sorry, State Street, you used to be good., but not any more. They seem to be running a relatively efficient business but the quality control is a complete failure. Washing cars is your bread and better. Why are you so bad?!? They lost our business. Get in line, I'm first in line. It's cold, door is closed. They see me, open the door. But tell me to wait and they get 2 luxury vehicles (Mercedes, Audi) that were parked, completely turned off, without a passenger in the car and they drive them and go around me and pull in front of me. But cool. When I got home I realized they only Armor All'd the driver side tires, not the passenger and I failed to walk around. They also do not honor "Ladies Day" unless you get a full wash, which was not written on their signage. read more

I was able to track the device to his home address. I called the owner and he was able to get it back for me, but the worker is still employed there.
