Made an appointment to have our pond worked on and have two outdoor pergola's built. Received a lot of information and opinions. Stated we would get a quote within 24 hours. That was last week. It's interesting g how these small businesses survive with such epic failure to follow through! While the individual that came out was nice, we would've liked to have had a bid at the very least. So far, Anything Sprinkler is and has been our "go to" place! They have it together! If you are good at landscaping, have solid work ethic, you would thrive in this city. David and his crew were great to work with. They were fun and friendly too. They were willing to work with us on our design and plans and with little projects we had already started. We LOVE our new backyard. They did gravel, drips, sprinklers, sod, plants, and trees for us. We found their prices reasonable and they were open to minor changes along the way. I hired J&J to create an iron gate for my yard. they said they would be ready by the end of June (this was just a estimate at the time of the quote). I contacted them at the end of June and they said they would have it ready for install in a couple more weeks. No call for two weeks so I contacted them and they set up an install the morning of July 17th, said it would only take a couple hours. I took off the Friday the 17th for the install. They were a no call no show so just before 1pm I contacted them, they responded just before 2 saying they installer was injured. they then said they are hoping to install on the following Monday or Tuesday I told them I need a little lead time to take time off work and I need it done before the following week. Never heard back from them so on Wednesday I gave them times I could be available the rest of the week for the install, needless to say never heard back until late Friday. They then said "it is looking like Tuesday or Wednesday" never heard from them so wednesday afternoon I contacted them again. They said they would be here at 8am Thursday. Just before 8am they said he would be there closer to 9am (I appreciated the heads up). They finally arrived at 10:30. The 2 hour job ended up taking 3 days and none of the days were they here when they said they would be. I understand delays happen but the lack of communication is totally unacceptable. I am glad I used that gate job to see if they were a reliable company or not. Now I will be sure to hire another company to do the rest of the work I have planned. Horribly unprofessional. It took several back and forth phone calls to get a hold of David every time we tried to contact them. We had to have our quote redone 4 times because they kept mixing up which block wall was getting raised to which height. They were in charge of getting a permit for our wall from the city since it would be over 6 feet and he tried to get a permit from the wrong city (Rio Rancho instead of Albuquerque) despite having been to the property several times and having our address. He and his crew showed up several times unannounced to "look at the property" before installation. Then when we actually scheduled a day, they were no shows. After waiting half the day and calling them, we found out the crew chief called in sick, but nobody bothered to call us and let us know. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Very bad experience. read more

Super disappointed in this company. I contacted 3 different landscapers and met them to discuss routine maintenance, I decided to go with J and J because I really liked David the owner who came out when giving me a bid on the maintenance. Unfortunately I shouldn't have gone with my initial impression and went with my gut, because I've had such a terrible time getting them to communicate with me. I was told I'd receive an estimate the next day, didn't happen for 3 days... then I had to contact them to try to verify when they would come out and would get no or delayed response. The 4th time they were supposed to come out I text David in the morning to try to find out a time, and got no response, I left voicemails and no response, I emailed and no response. The least I would expect is to tell me you aren't going to make it or tell me you don't want or can't do the maintenance, but not responding at all is unacceptable. I sent texts and emails informing I no longer wanted to do business since they did not show up nor did they ever bother to respond to me at all. Even after that no response. Very frustrating and I hope this helps others avoid the same frustration. read more

I finally decided to landscape my eyesore of a backyard. The owner, David, took measurements and gave me an estimate very quickly. We scheduled the job and he kept in contact with me with updates throughout the installation. David and his crew worked hard & completed the job timely. Nothing but praise for this company! I highly recommend J&J landscaping. David and his team are very professional and hardworking. They will get the job done promptly and for a reasonable price. We have work with a few contractors before and most of them are flaky, the same goes for landscapers. But we did not have that problem with David as he is good with returning our calls and emails. The team did a good job on our front yard and we will again hire them for our additional landscaping needs. read more
