And we walked the entire length of all the booths. The market itself was in an area that we'd never been to by some various parks and Royal Palm venues. The booths were wrapping around part of the lake and along a path parallel to the main street. We found a parking spot under the trees when another car pulled out. Everyone was quite friendly, too, as we walked around. Vendors of jewelry, clothing, honey, handmade soaps, pet products like dog chews and dog beds, guacamoles, breads, candles, cookies and brownies, plants, microgreens, gift items, et al. One area had a few food trucks and was near an outdoor picnic table. We did try some delicious and refreshing "made that morning" conch salad. I'd definitely like to come back again. It was fun to browse and get in a comfortable walk as well as getting some ideas for holiday gifts.

I didn't catch her name but the woman who greeted us first was so warm & welcoming. We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. They offer a bunch of other activities as well so definitely give them a try.

From the moment my husband and I walked in, the staff was welcoming and informative -- they shared some intro facts about the place and gave us the space to explore at our own pace since it was our first visit. The orchid greenhouse alone is worth the trip. It's massive, filled with orchids in every size and color imaginable, and the prices are very reasonable for the full, vibrant blooms they offer. So beautiful in there! Beyond the orchids, they carry a nice variety of tropical fruit trees and a wide selection of outdoor plants for purchase -- plenty to browse and bring home. The woman at the checkout counter was a standout, even though I didn't catch her name. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing details about all the fresh produce and the local farmers she sources it from. Everything was organic and fresh, and they even carry fresh eggs -- chicken, quail, and goose. How cool is that? We picked up tomatoes, garlic, peppers, and onions, along with some locally sourced tropical juices. We went with the soursop and tamarind, and they were absolutely refreshing and delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next trip -- I've got my eye on some orchids, more fresh produce, and maybe a couple of outdoor plants to take home.

All proceeds goes towards the You Farm's nonprofit aiding third world countries and it's a win win for both sides. Even though it has that part, we primarily enjoyed the pumpkin patch event. There were plenty of pumpkins to pick from and a lot of photo opportunities around the farm. They had vendors selling food, drinks, and jewelry. The kids were able to paint their pumpkins and add glitter to make it super sparkly. There was music going on that the kids could dance to and there was even a gem contest. The kids had the opportunity to go out into the field and find gems. One of the owners gave out prizes for who could bring up the brightest gem from the field. I would definitely come back for other events in the future and it was affordable. You can actually grow your own food there (hint the name ;D) and have a wonderful time learning about how they help others in need. Check out their website for more information on events and their outdoor gardens.

Profits from the farm support You Farm's non profit which promotes education in third world countries so they can become food and water sustainable. The farm got its name because it is a place where families can farm their own food such as greens and eggs. You can either purchase their produce or grow your own in the community garden. People who grow their own food here are called You Farmers. I was driving back from Loxahatchee when I spotted n event at the farm. They were hosting a Seafood Festival and there were a number of food trucks including my favorite, Captain Lobstar. In addition they had some vendors selling craft items, a bounce inflatable for the kids, and they were holding some games like toss the egg. I enjoyed visiting with their adorable animals which included horses, goats, and chickens and I loved learning about what they are doing here. They are helping people to grow nutritious organic produce, aiding people in third world countries, and rescuing animals. This place is worthy of everyone's support. Like them on Facebook to learn about upcoming events they are hosting including a Farmers Market on March 6th.
