What a nice surprise in the middle of Loxahatchee. They had a great variety and selection for a small farmers market.

I had the pleasure of visiting Swank farms for an event to appreciate the process of farm to table eating with Slow Foods organization and let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by the whole evening. The venue was so pretty, it surpassed any of my expectations when I signed up for a farm to table dinner. The barn was beautifully decorated and organized, hosting 250 guests yet never felt packed. The stage area sits high so any seat is a good seat with a view of performers or speakers. Upon arrival we were greeted by the event organizer and by Swank's farm owner who told us a bit about the farm and their message about locally grown and sourced food. He also informed us about how they offer monthly produce bags, "Swank Sacks" delivered to Whole Foods Market who they partnered up with, where you can pick up your produce bag with items all grown at Swank farm, providing you a taste of some of the seasons flesh's and organic produce. The evening flew by while listening to the delightful sounds of live jazz and enjoying our carefully and deliciously prepared 5 course meal by all the amazing guest chefs that night. Our house is a couple of miles from Swank, so to take a bike ride and enjoy their Saturday market is relatively easy. Given the number of farmer's and produce markets in Palm Beach County (PBC), having one like Swank that offers not only terrific produce but also a great farmer's market so close is magical. With more than 20 acres in Loxahatchee Groves, Swank is a great spot to grab various lettuce, avocadoes, starfish, and dragonfruit, amongst other great fruits and vegetables. We normally go there on Saturdays since their farmer's market takes place between 10 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, where you can purchase various baked goods, plants, condiments, other produce, and products under their open-air pole barn. The vibes are always good during the farmer's market between the cold brew coffee and breakfast available to purchase, before picking up some canned jams, aiolis, and fresh bread while listening to live music. read more

Small but very unique. Our daughter found this way out in God's country gem. When the roads are marked by letters of the alphabet you will know what I mean. We're approached by a guy telling me that the olive oil that I buy in the grocery store isn't the real deal. Truth is in the pudding...um, oil. I tried it with a slice of bread and let's just say I won't be using it in the pasta water. I bought a bottle. Our next stop was the the beef station. For a very reasonable price, they had A5 beef. We followed that purchase up with a Waygu strip. The couple was so energetic about their products that they made 2 waygu hamburgers for us. read more

Went to the farmers market at Swank for the first time today. Wasn't what I had initially envisioned but then again I'm not certain what I did... it's very rural and a hidden local spot down bumpy roads that made me think I wasn't supposed to be there until I spotted the sign welcoming all to SWANK. When you pull in it's a true authentic working farm. Down a hay covered path you are greeted to the vendors under the barn covering. Everyone so welcoming and friendly and took the time to explain what products they had from plants, soaps, bread, produce to homemade pet treats. They also had samples available at most booths. Came here for one of their local vendor dinners and it's probably one of the most unique and awesome experiences I have ever had. Tucked back into the farmlands of Palm Beach county, Seank Speciality Produce is a cute farm that offers farmers markets and these cute dinners hosted by them and their friends in the industry. The one we attended was a CBD dinner: with each dish being inspired with that ingredient. Arrived and sampled some of the drinks and apps they had before the event started and then started back to another area where other sample size apps were served by these great local vendors. Once we finished in this area, we were seated at long tables inside a covered barn area. Such a great atmosphere, music, drinks, dancing. It was almost like we were on our own planet, quiet, wholesome- I'd absolutely love to come back in the future and definitely plan to. read more

Deep in the Loxahatchee jungle, there are some small family-owned farms that supply your favorite restaurants with gorgeous produce. Swank, which is family owned and operated by a husband and wife (Jodi) team, is one of those farms... and their produce is simply stunning. Find them mostly at the WPB Green Market, which runs from October-ish through mid April, and ever visit them at their farm! On Sundays (you can see their schedule with pricing/info via their social media), they have farm events hosted by Swank and different chefs each time. They have a featured cocktail, a wine sommelier on prem, and it's all outside underneath their huge structure. Bistro lights, live music, and pretty table settings complete the ambience. Because I follow them on social media, I saw that some days you have the ability to stop in and purchase their produce. My husband and I made a trip with our pugs in a stroller one Saturday and they had a small little market, with about 8 vendors. We loved it! Recently my mom and I made a trip up for their produce sale day. It was nothing fancy, just a tent with Jodi selling Swank produce. BUT the produce is to die for, and we would absolutely make that trip again. It was worth it! We each brought a cooler and filled it to the top with our bounty of fresh produce! They truly grow some of the nicest produce in our area! I strongly suggest you make a trip to Swank! read more

Enjoyed our first experience at one of the dinners at swank Farm the last one of the season for 2024 in the spring. the atmosphere was excellent. The food was remarkable dancing stalking tasting. Everything was wonderful. Cannot wait to return when they open again in November. Hope to see everybody there. read more

Went to recent Julia Child themed monthly dinner - dinner starts at 4 pm. prompt cocktails on arrival, but 4th , and last, dinner course not served until after 8pm. had to leave before desert because 4 plus hours too much, even though band ( mostly rock roll music) played and dance floor available. interesting experience to be up in legit farm country and on working farm, but because of marathon time involved for dinner, liKelly one and done bucket list event. read more

I recommend the farm produce and there "Swank Dinners". For me, this space is a 1.2 hour drive to reach, but it certainly has a relaxed, farm vibe to it i appreciate. We recently attended the 3/23 Swank Dinner(the last of this year) & we really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars as pacing couldve been perfected (in reference to the long amounts of time spent waiting for your courses)and i think $160 per ticket is just a tad too costly for what you get. But if you have not attended, its recommend you do at least once. Definitely try the farmer's markets they do. If you like eating produce that's organic and raised locally like me, check em out .While they dont have organics, it is local and alot of it tastes great! read more

This is a glorified event space and THATS IT. Hospitality is zero. Food is dressed up but lacks flavor. It's like a garden buffet of sorts... The staff, in particular Jodi Swank herself was SO RUDE and entitled it was disgusting. After being spoken to like a child after expressing concern over our experience I'm sure I'll never return here unless it's a free event and I want to get drunk and laugh. I wouldn't give this place a cent. There a many places to have a far better experience all with Air Condition and friendly staff! Avoid. read more

COULD NOT FIND, had to forfeit our Easter Brunch bc we drove around for an hour in Loxahatchee trying to find this place!!! I called for assistance with directions, owner answered with one repetitive monotone RUDE voice..."Okechobee & D rd". Saw other customers driving around Loxahatchee lost as me - in Range Rovers & Mercedes. Was looking forward to Easter Brunch with my family!! I never received a confirmation of my booking, No specifics on directions, website is not helpful with these topics either. Waste of money and a special holiday ruined for my family. TOTAL WASTE of $160/person. We went in 2019 and it was awesome. Unfortunately, the food quality, wine quality, and service has gone down tremendously. This dinner was a Maine theme. 4 of the 6 courses were SALAD with little variety. One course was Spanish Mackeral which is a BAIT FISH. Oh and the other protein was Duck which was tough and COLD. We had a party of 9 and a private car service for the hour long ride from East Delray. Our glasses were never full, the food was cold and not even GOLDEN CORRAL quality, we were sat improperly and treated rudely by the staff. Someone in our party became VERY SICK immediately upon leaving. Do NOT waste yours money here as the intimacy and focus has shifted from a great experience with good food to lining their pockets and mediocrity at best. I don't want to hear their excuse of "Farm Food". If it's Farm Food and you can't execute anything better than a HOT DOG don't charge us $160/head for it. Save yourself from a waste of money and a huge disappointment and Book your reservation at a fine dining and intimate restaurant with good service where they serve hot food which doesn't make you sick! I took my daughter and friends to the Ocean Reunion Farm to Table dinner on 3-23-19. We were tipsy when we left at the end of the event, but we were not satiated. The food was practically non-existent. After standing in a long line like cattle, we stopped at first station for appetizers. They served a green avocado soup in tall shot glass that at least 50% of shot glasses tipped over when served. Ruined my daughter's dates' shirt. Like I said, we were drunk when we left but starving. I could have stopped for fast food when we left to soak up some of the booze. And in case no one realizes, Swank is a hydrophonic farm, with nothing grown in the good ol' earth. Not my cup of tea. If I could give zero stars I would. This was our second time going to Swank. The first time was amazing but, wow, what a difference a year makes! So disappointed as I was looking for a repeat of the prior year. The food was awful. 90% salad. Food that should have come out hot was cold. When someone in our party mentioned it to the the staff we were told "your on a farm what did you expect". Well, I can tell you at 160 per person I was expecting a lot more than what we got. The service was just bad and I'm not sure where they found this batch of "Master chefs". But I do know that no self respecting chef would send food out looking the way it did. The time between courses was ridiculous. The whole dinner was supposed to be 6:30-9:30. We left around 11:00 and dessert had not been served yet! I kept hoping with each course that it would get better but that never happened. I will never go back there and I will also let the sponsors of this event know that they should not be associating their name with these chef series event as the quality has seriously declined.
