Out car died at the Love's Truck Stop in Brunswick Ga, 2 hours from home around 11 am. When I called them, the staff was extremely warm and helpful. They sent a tow service very quickly. Faster than State Farm (we are to be reimbursed by State Farm). Their waiting room was comfortable and cool. The ladies that work the desk was so accommodating and informative. The mechanics evaluated our car in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, they didn't have the part (a starter) and had to order it from a local auto store who had to order it as a rush from Florida. We had to stay in a local hotel overnight. The next day the part was there by 9am as they promised, they repaired the car and we were back on the road by 10 am. The bill I felt was reasonable although my husband (himself a mechanic) felt the part was priced high but being a business owner myself I know good labor is expensive and they did rush the part. Everything is expensive these days. I was more than pleased with their service. read more

I had an appointment for what I was told was a 30 to 45 minute job. After an hour I asked about the repair and was told they had just put the car up on the rack. In all it took over two hours. Not a happy camper!! read more

Took my truck in to have 4 new tires put on that I bought my self ,they did not know about color dots on tire and what to do with them, got it and all tires where out of balance after waiting outside in the rain ,because the did not want to set there big waiting room up for social distance , then I had to take it back again because all 4 tires still not balance right , needless to say they where still out of balance . Had to take my truck to DUCKWORTH TIRE to get the job done right . half the day and a 100.00 plus what I paid this place and 4 hrs. of my time waiting outside . Our 5th wheel had a screw in the tire but was not appearantly leaking. We came in and just assumed it will need plugged. The women at the front desk said it could take an hour but by the time I backed rig up to where they asked the tech came out and checked tire, pulled a short screw out and with no leak we were on our way within 15 minutes. Fail to repair all of the brakes that needed work on my car and then I ended up breaking down in another state and had to spend twice as much when they could have just fixed it the 1st time period then when it was addressed, they refused to rectify the issue And, in fact, doubled down that it was not their fault and they would not rectify the issue. read more

My wife brought our F250 in to have the ball joints and one tire rod end replaced, we supplied the parts. $840 in labor for a Ford Motor Company estimated 4 to 6 hour job. That is super expensive. Before bringing the truck in, it was driven on a 60 mile commute with no problems every day. After the repair she only got 14 miles from their shop located at Candler Drive and the truck started to pull hard to the left, abruptly. When she got to a stopping point there was smoke boiling out the front driver side fender well. The rim was so hot you could not touch it. It was towed back to J & Js in Brunswick. I spoke with Jacob the owner and was told my master cylinder failed and I needed to purchase another one and was quoted $500 parts and labor. I have terrible luck so it's probably true, but it is mighty odd that it was working fine. Actually had just checked my brakes 2 weeks prior and they were fine. Never had an issue with the brakes over heating or anything of that nature. Then all of a sudden just after a front end job my master cylinder goes out. UPDATE:  Friday 9/2/22 This is 7 hours later. The master cylinder did not fix the issue. Now the manager Angelina says they are going to TRY the ABS wheel sensor. At this point they are throwing parts at the issue. Now what was supposed to be a days worth of work has ruined our Labor Day weekend. They are closing so it will be Tuesday before they can get back to work on it. Jacob called me and restated that he runs a professional shop and he is not out to screw anyone over. I do not think it was done on purpose I believe it's a lack of knowledge and skill. Update: 9/6/22. Talked to Jacob this morning. He refuses to do what is right and fix my truck. It is now being towed to Kings Colonial Ford so someone who knows what they are doing can take a look at it.  I have always heard good things about J & J, but now I have no confidence in this mickey mouse outfit. The owner refuses to take responsibility and do what is right. I would suggest to anyone TAKE YOUR VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE. I just hope he does what he says and pays for the damages when the Ford Dealership proves that they caused these issues.  I'm thankful that it wasn't worse and my wife didn't have an accident. read more

Do not go here they are scams especially with older used vehicles ... I went there 3/4 times and they could not fix the problem just to scam me they knicked my front oil seal lied un tighten all 4 nuts so the oil will drip out everywhere Charge me for stuff that didn't need to be done. charged me for an engine degreased that was never done when they caused the problem from leaking valves dirty oily hands all over my front bumper charged me saying my radiator was cracked but didn't even notice my radiator hose about to EXPLODE these are dirty money hungry people don't trust the lady at the front desk my car ran worse when I left everytime disgusting people to do this to some one read more

This place is a scam especially towards females. They charge you for work they never even did. They put a Knick in my seal and left the nuts loose and cut my AC line then wanted to tell me I need a new compressor so I told them no she called back said I had a cracked radiator what bullshit. The "part replacers" left greasy hand prints on my front bumper and messed my hood up. They changed my valve cover gaskets and oil was leaking everywhere. They lie and charge you so much I have pics of the damage to my engine The lady at the front desk seems nice but she's a scammer also. Prices are outrageous. Shitty tires also. They take 4 hours for a oil change. You Ruined my vehicle!!!! read more

My 2002 4Runner was shaking when I hit the gas so I took it to J & J at 11:30am on a Friday. They diagnosed the problem (U Joint) and had my truck repaired by 2:00pm. Charged us 761.00 for a rear brake job and then another 15.00 to rotate the tires.Me thinks I'll check with the dealer next time.I heard great reviews on this place but I guess they don't think their reputation is worth the 15.00 rip off for rotating the tires while they had it up and two off.
