I called many physical therapy facilities and left messages. NO return calls EXCEPT Optimal PT & Rehab. Thank God! I was very concerned I wouldn't find any one that was taking new patients. They were, and I jumped on it. I'm SO VERY glad I did! Appointments were limited but my desire was to be pain free! I hate to mention names in fear I'll forget someone. The bottom line is THEY all care! From the moment you enter the door to the moment you exit the door! This is a group of men and women that work together for Your benefit. They are a well oiled machine. I was willing to do the exercises just as prescribed. I didn't miss one appointment. They gave me encouragement each step of the way! While my therapy is complete I know if ever I need PT again my place of choice will be Optimal PT!

I was a patient of this practice for several years off and on. As a fitness professional , I used…read moreto refer this office to people requiring Pelvic Floor Therapy, because their PFPT Sarah is WONDERFUL. High praises for Sarah! Unfortunately, it was my most recent personal experience that the administrative staff, to include the owner, is ill-equipped to provide support and open communication to patients requiring accommodations or needing access to their medical records.  When asked to view my medical records, I was told they can only be printed for a fee. When asked for office policy and further clarification in regards to the breakdown of fees, I was met with conflicting answers and mocked, yelled at, and hung up on by their medical records personnel. When I asked to communicate via email only to avoid triggering phone calls, my request was dismissed and ignored.  I attempted to hire a patient advocate so they could communicate on my behalf, but received pushback until , the Friday before my Monday appointment, I was sent an email saying my appointment had been canceled and i should pursue treatment elsewhere. This is not an appropriate patient discharge, and I have been left without care considering my current condition requires specific therapy. At no point did any admin try to level set, take accountability, or attempt to understand my needs. I would encourage anyone with a need for transparency, clear understanding of policies, and open and kind communication to seek help elsewhere.

No bedside manners from the nurse (Cathy) from the Doctor (Estes) or the anesthesiologist. They lacked compassion, had poor communication and listening skills and were always in a rush. I have had 2 other children at a different hospital and they were good experiences for the most part. Calvert is a disgrace to women and you will suffer unnecessarily.
