I found meek's garage, which I thought was a reputable garage this past week, I brought my vehicle over to them on a Tuesday, told them that I had a bearing sound. I believe it was coming from the back of my 2015 vertico, Volkswagen cheddar. I've experienced these kind of noise in the past. So I told them, please look at it, and let me know they call me up, told me it was the front right side hub that had to be replaced and fixed they gave me a price of $487 to repair it. Well, this didn't take care of the problem. Hey, tell me it might have been a problem with the transmission. I took the car paid for it. But I felt like it wasn't checked out properly. Got another mechanic, looked at. It found out it was the rear bearing assembly hub that was, the problem went back to them. Explain the to Em Monday morning and said this was the problem. What are we gonna do about what you did for repairs? I felt like you did not do a proper inspection of my car and I got charged $500 almost for the repair. That didn't fix it. I still haven't gotten response back from them yet. So my recommendations are not to go to this garage. They're very unworthy, and not very trustful. Apparently, these are my thoughts. I'm a commuter and needed to get my tire fixed to make my drive back home so I was lucky this shop was so close to campus. The guys were so friendly and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Always fast, friendly & honest service at a reasonable price point. Not sure what more you could ask for in an automotive shop. As far as service requested goes, when you go to a mechanic requesting a particular service you think it needs because your friends brother said so, that is asking for trouble most times. They are there to help, let them diagnose problems, and recommend needed services , if you expect them to stand behind the repairs.
