We hired Bill to tear out our old concrete patio and lawn and install pavers, new sod along with…read moreall new sidewalks. This was done very late in the fall of 2019. We did not have a chance to access the work, as it snowed shortly after he completed the job. Come spring 2020 we noticed that a large portion of the pavers have settled towards the house, which causes the water to run towards our home. The reason for the landscaping in the first place was because of this issue, which is now worse than it was before.   As for the sod, the yard was never graded and fill was not laid appropriately so the sod could grow. We are left with a very rough yard of dead sod. The only thing that was done properly was the sidewalks, which Bill subcontracted out. The sub contractor came to our residence twice asking for payment even though Bill was paid in full. The sub contractor still has not been paid. 01002339275-00 9 We paid over $18,000 for this landscaping and are left with and absolute disaster. We had several other landscaping companies come to assess and to have the work done properly which we already paid Bill to do will cost at least $7,000. Mind you when we told the other companies what we paid for the work Bill attempted to complete they were astonished and said we were severely overcharged. We have requested Bill pay for us to have the landscaping done properly. We are not asking for reimbursement of the entire amount, but just what we will have to pay to have it completed properly. Bill has refused so we have no other recourse than to file suit. In the process of doing so it appears this will not be the first time Bill has been sued. Appears he operated under a different business name and was sued by another individual, as he has several judgments. We would highly think twice before hiring Bill to do any work for you.

Irrigation system installed developed a leak. I dug up the middle of the yard, found the leak, at a…read moresupply hose connection. Only one clamp was used on either side of the connector, normally two are used on each side (my neighbor just had 3 used on their system). Two clamps provide leak protection in the event a single clamp, which might not get installed tight enough (some dirt under clamp when tightened or clamp slightly twisted when fastened) begins to leak. Well, it developed a high volume leak which eroded away the soil around the retaining wall (20 feet away) In addition to digging up the yard, the retaining wall now requires repair. I called the company and explained the situation. FULL DISCLOSURE: I bought the house from the original owners who had the system installed... I did NOT pay for the original installation. I have no grounds for warranty. I understand that.... However, poor installation is poor installation. It can result in leaks far in the future. Temaca provided me with the date of installation as being four years ago therefore it is not under warranty. He offered to send out a service person for a charge. I felt a single clamp installation was sub standard, they should know that will eventually leak. I didn't think he should be charged for a service call for Shotty installation. He stated he's been installing systems for 26 years and doesn't need my installation advice. That's their standard installation. Indicating single clamp installation is sufficient. I cannot attest to how many of those systems have leaked. I do know the cost of the two dozen extra clamps needed to do the job correctly, pales in comparison to repairs needed to my retaining wall and yard! Even though I am not entitled to any warranty I thought a company, advertiseing "pride in their work" would at least send out an individual to see if their installation might've been the cause and put a couple more clamps on. The conversation did not last long enough for me to even mention the damage to my retaining wall. As for his offer of a paid service call, no thanks. I think I will fix it myself or go someplace else.

I had a great…read moreexperience with the install and the workers were professional and very patient when there were some plumbing problems with the house. Once the plumbing was resolved with the city the entire system worked flawlessly. I needed some adjustments later when we purchased sone extra sod and the owner came out himself and did the adjustments for me. After that he showed me how to make adjustments myself if I was feeling up to it. My sod was installed by a big builder during the summer drought of 2021 and Ryan(the owner) gave me guidance on how to keep my sod alive and thriving. Temaca has been great and also will install a smart controller that is easy to use! I can't recommend them higher.

All of the roofing companies were quite busy due to recent storm damage. Some didn't return calls, and we even had a couple no-show on scheduled estimates. Matt K, in contrast, was extremely responsive and reliable. We left a message on a weekend, and he called back that same weekend, and scheduled a time for an estimate within a few days. He came for the estimate at the appointed time, and promptly emailed us a detailed, thorough, and competitive bid. He then answered all of our questions thoroughly and knowledgeably about the proposed work and process. Matt was easy to talk with, explained about roofing in terms that we could readily understand, did not up-sell, and provided honest evaluations and recommendations from his decades of roofing experience. Shortly after that, while we were still evaluating our options, we had a leak concern. In response, Matt was able to juggle schedules to fit our replacement in quickly. His crew (led by Brendan), was efficient and careful, and were able to complete the tear-off and replacement in a day, even though winds reached up to 20 mph some of the time. They also left our property neat and tidy. Someone who saw them work told me that he would without reservation "heavily suggest using them again!!!" (His three exclamation marks, not mine). As a bonus, Matt also has a good eye for color. We went with his color recommendation, and really finds that it looks nice against the colors we have.
