I came home to chunks of concrete scattered in my lawn big divots of grass gouged out. All of my curbing was scratched up and disfigured. The entire street, curb to curb for a distance of 100 feet was thick with soil and gravel. I called Schmucker and he sent some men out who picked the rocks and chunks out of my lawn and left. But the mess of soil and gravel sent clouds up w every passing car and my own vehicle was dragging it up into my drive. I called again. He said he'd come out but never did. I spent hours cleaning it up myself as best I could and called him again. I just asked if he would explain to me why my property, on the other side of the street, had to take such a beating. He just yelled at me for bothering him. If you want to stay on friendly terms w your neighbors, don't hire these people. My neighbor, the client, just said not to worry, it'll eventually wash down in the sewer. Really? I shouldn't have too live with the residual filth from a contractor who has never heard of a broom. Update - The business is Paul Schmucker & Sons Concrete. Lot's of good folks with that surname, so I want to be more exact.

Trying to avoid calling a plumber for a fix I can handle, but did not want water off in home while another part was shipped. Called Northside Plumbing, explained situation (on morning of BLACK FRIDAY) and was told if I could make it before noon they had what I needed. I was there in 30 minutes and with help of the staff found part that was left out of my kit (very common part from very popular faucet maker) Thanks to their understanding and customer service, water was back on in my house an hour later.
