The shop itself is great. Great staff and selection of guns at a reasonable price, I however cannot recommend their gunsmithing services. I brought a Smith and Wesson 686 here to get bead blasted, and I got my gun back in a very unacceptable condition. First off the barrel and cylinder holes were not plugged, so the cylinder holes as well as the barrel, crown, and rifling were blasted with high powered glass bead. The internals of the gun were all blasted as well including the hammer pivot pin. The side plate was forced on and off incorrectly leaving a gouge where the side plate meets the frame. The front sight was removed incorrectly and was dinged up like crazy. Incorrect screw driver heads were used for the screws, so side plate screws were all chewed up, as well as the top strap screw, and the strain screw. Literally not a single screw was not boogered up. The gun was also full of glass bead grit and required a full detail strip to clean out. I ended up selling the gun for a loss rather than do the two hour drive both ways back to the shop to complain. I bought an air compressor a have bead blasted my other two revolvers myself without a single issue, will either be doing my own work for now on or going elsewhere for gunsmith services. read more
