I hired them to paint my living room, kitchen, loft, and addition. Their work was so bad that the Small Claims Court ruled in my favor against them (and as of the writing of this, Tyler Pate and Jeremy Nosbush still owe more than $800 that they refuse to pay). If you did/do hire them and they are attempting to intimidate you into paying for sub-standard work, feel free to contact me directly. You can read my story below. Tyler and Jeremy, the owners of Eastside Painters, are dishonest. They did not use a single product that they bid for the job. They downgraded the wall paint quality, didn't use the same line of ceiling paint, and didn't use any primer (despite several accent walls that were dark colors). They did all of this without giving me any notice or seeking a change order of any sort. It wasn't until I was preparing for court that I was able to determine the lengths to which they went in breaching their contract. In addition to the dishonestly of corner-cutting on materials, Eastside Painters does poor quality work. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to exposed ceiling beams in two rooms. Their prep work (covering small holes and defects) was so sloppy that even they had to admit in court that they would not have accepted their own work. They lied about having done two coats of paint (which is what they bid) and were reprimanded on it in court. Finally, Tyler and Jeremy are vindictive. When I refused to pay their full invoice--offering to pay the invoice minus the cost of repairing the property they damaged--they engaged in a systematic campaign of intimidation and threats to try to get paid. They put a lien on my house, not to exercise their right to use a mechanics lien but as an attempt to intimidate me into paying the full invoice. When I refused to comply, they threatened to have felony charges brought against me (which they have no authority to do). When that didn't work, they called and/or emailed organizations I work or volunteer with and told outright lies about me in an attempt to get me removed from those organizations. Their threats and intimidation did not work on me, and if they are trying similar tactics against you, feel free to contact me directly.

After looking around for painters in the area we decided on Pesh and his crew. Joe seemed really excited and motivated. Now a word from the painters own FB page 4 weeks after starting our job... "Gonna have to start being more detailed in my emails and estimates I guess and stop trying to "hook up" people. For those who dont know, We charge by the hour, we dont accept credit cards, there is at the least a one month wait for any project, we do not work on any deadlines. First payment will be made 2 days prior to scheduled start date. Any additional work not mentioned in original estimate will result in additional charges. Probably should start charging people for all the materials we use also.... " First how hard is it to take a CC? In todays world there are so many CC options for small business owners. Next we did NOT asked to get "hooked up" we just wanted our home painted well and in timely fashion. Neither of these things were accomplished. We have crooked lines all over the place, paint on light fixtures, missing hardware and a broken toilet seat in our bathroom (I assume someone stood on it rather than using a ladder) There were excuses left and right from Joe as to why everything was taking so long but I think he says it best himself in another quote from his FB page... "I've just been promoted to Expert Procrastinator! I'll tell you why later...."

Our house was desperately in need of some repairs and painting and H3Painting came to the rescue!…read moreThey came and walked the house perimeter while we discussed the work that was needed and paint colors. We wanted to update the exterior to a slightly more contemporary classic look. A detailed estimate was provided (I had a couple other quotes and theirs was in line with the others). We approved it and then the transformation began. They power washed the areas to be painted, made the necessary repairs and did a lot of prep scrapping, caulking & priming. Windows, stonework, landscaping and other areas were carefully taped and covered. The painting crew worked efficiently and were ready to retouch any area we asked to be tweaked. When the job was nearing completion, we walked the perimeter again with the project manager where we both found a few areas that needed a bit more caulking, more paint, a line straightened, etc. The paint crew followed up on all the little details until we were satisfied. The job site was cleaned up every day and everything was left in good order. We had been dreading having our house painted, but H3Painting made it a great experience. We highly recommend them and will have them back for any other painting we need done.

Took them about two days to fix the damaged areas, and they did it right. We had two areas that had 20 ft ceilings; they were able to handle the task at hand. Kelli and Mike stayed in contact with me during the entire project, which is a vital key to any project. We will be using them again on future projects. What's really nice is they do JUST Drywall.
