Bought a new washer for my rental property from Home Depot, and J.B. Hunt were contracted to do the delivery and the installation, and haul away the old appliance. I didn't get a call half an hour before they came, unfortunately. I was waiting to get the call because my tenant would not be home during the first hour of their delivery window, so I was hoping they would either come later, or that they could go to a different delivery in the meantime. Of course they came on the early end, and my tenant was just getting off work and coming back home when they arrived! They called me when they arrived and nobody was home to open the door. I didn't catch the contractor's name, but he was so patient and understanding. My tenant authorized him to go inside with a spare key, and he did the installation and hauled away the old washer, then locked up the house after. My tenant came home to a perfectly set up washer and was able to start doing laundry right away. I took off one star for the lack of an early warning call, but I think the flexibility and good service afterwards really saved it. I wish I had gotten the contractor's name, because he deserves a raise! read more

No "guaranteed delivery" timeframe. I had a delivery set to come to my office, between 8-5, and was assured that would happen. I received a call stating it would arrive between 2:45-6:45pm. I called, and let them know I specifically scheduled it before 5, as it is a business address, and was told there was nothing they could do. Poor service, both in the scheduling department, and the representative/supervisor who was unable to assist. read more

Had a scheduled delivery for a window between 8AM-12PM. Driver (Fernando) called and let me know he would be here shortly. I live on an Air Force Base and tried to contact him three times to give him updated instructions for delivery and he never answered. Three hours later I had to call the company and stay on hold for about 30 minutes to get the answer that it was an "attempted delivery" because the gate guard would not let him through. He did not notify me of this situation because I would have drove to the gate to get him on base. Completely unprofessional and unorganized company. I was supposed to be working on my backyard but held off for 3 hours to find out I now have to be home on Friday for a delivery. I will notify the business that I purchased from and recommend they not do business with this "delivery" company anymore. read more

Completely unprofessional company! I purchased goods from High Fashion Home, for one of my clients, and this company was their delivery provider. They called to schedule the delivery with a 4 hour window, from 8:15am to 12:15pm, and would call me 30 min prior to delivery. I arranged for an employee to be at the residence to receive delivery during that window. At 12:45pm I called them to see what had happened since I had gotten no call to warn me of a delay, or delivery. After getting nowhere with a operator, I asked for a manager, Roy, he told me the driver was caught up on other deliveries and that could not make delivery until 2:30pm!!!! He were not apologetic, said there was nothing he could do....after I had to pay 6.5 hours to an employee to sit and wait for their unreliable driver!!! Outrageous!!! I am still waiting in this delivery, let's see if it arrives in perfect condition. I will NEVER use this company again!!!! read more

This company is third rate and the definition of unprofessional. I bought furniture from a third party and the company I purchased from contracts w/ J.B. Hunt, which I did not know at the time I bought the furniture. I was notified when the furniture arrived in the J.B. warehouse before going out on a Monday afternoon. I contacted J.B. to arrange delivery immediately after finding out they would be delivering. My building requires a COI. Although Friday was available, J.B. refused to schedule a delivery prior to having its legal counsel execute and approve a COI, something I've never heard of before. J.B. also needed to verify its COI has been approved by my building. J.B. emailed me a sample COI with vague useless instructions on what to send back. So I provided a PDF with all the information they should need Monday at 2pm. On Tuesday at 10am I received an incredibly rude email response that "Hunt will not sign the agreement," with fill-in instructions about what info they needed (this time spelled out in enough detail for me to provide). It turns out though, if they did their job and weren't the lazy and unprofessional people they are, they could have filled the info out themselves with the PDF I sent. But what a chore to open an email attachment! Whatever, I filled out the info for their edification at 2pm Tuesday. Crickets. I responded later in the day reprimanding them for their unprofessional lackadaisical approach to customer service... no response. On Wednesday at 1pm I was notified the COI was approved. I had to then send to my building and my building approved as well. Then I attempted scheduled with J.B. and nothing was available Friday. Nothing could be done except empty apologies and scheduling for the following week. J.B. won't schedule you before they know your building will accept delivery for their own benefit, delay and misdirect, and then screw you over after you get them the info they need and the time slot is no longer available. No rerouting, no squeezing you it. They're too cheap to alter their delivery route or provide an accommodation. I called the furniture company and explained that J.B. runs a terrible outfit which made my experience buying the furniture very unpleasant. I obtained a full refund and I suspect the furniture company will reconsider its business relationship with these hacks. Bottom line, these people are unprofessional, lazy, incompetent, and put themselves before those relying on them for deliveries. I didn't volunteer to do business with them I was forced to without knowing. I hope that people see this and can avoid being in the same situation I was put in. read more

Terrible experience. My review is nearly the exact same as Tammy J's. I had to stay home from work to receive this delivery. After calling the company several times to request a window, I finally was given one. 1 hour before that 4 hour window was up, I was called and told my item "did not make it onto the truck." They couldnt offer any explanation other than that. Only was given a "sorry." No attempt to make this huge inconvenience right. I will also be notifying the company from which this piece was purchased from how terrible JB Hunt was to work with and advising them not to do business with them going forward. read more

Do not count on your delivery getting to you when they say!!! Not only do they only deliver to our area once a week but the evening before it was due to be at our home, they called and said that "oops" it didn't get on the truck from a different location to load their delivery truck...so we won't be seeing our merchandise for another week. They have had our merchandise for at least two weeks at their "other" location. Mind you...I took the day off from work already and had a party planned on the weekend to use the merchandise. The only thing they could say to me was that they are sorry! Sorry just isn't good enough! read more
