Terrible, unprofessional, rude service. I was cursed out by a taxi driver as I commute to work. In my 5-7min ride, after some miscommunication between my driver and I, i requested my fare total at my destination drop off (please keep in mind he was on the phone the whole ride). In a nasty manner, the driver asked "How much do I usually pay?". After I responded, he says "So if you know why did you ask?" And continues to nag about traffic and our earlier miscommunication. I told him that he was very unprofessional and I will not be returning. He then says, "if I don't call them, the next person will" and repeatedly cursed at me and telling me "I don't care". This interaction has truly saddened and frightened me, please DO NOT ride with this company. I was treated with NO respect. read more

The receptionist was very helpful and effective. The rates and prices are affordable as well.

The drivers are unprofessional. I got into one of their cabs and the driver didn't have change to give me (I had a $20 bill) so he went to a gas station to get change. I gave him the $20 to get change and when he got it, he didn't give me my money. I had to ask him for my money and he told me to wait a second (I don't know why I had to wait to get MY money). When he gave me my money, he only gave me $13. He decide to TAKE his fare before he took me to my destination. I told him that he should have given me the $20 in change so I could give him his fare upon drop off. He told me that he didn't know what I was talking about and that his company gets their fare in advance (I don't know what kind of scam they run but other taxi companies that I use get their fare upon drop off). BE WARNED - I wasn't going to write a review because reading these other reviews. I see that apparently it didn't change anything. THIS TAXI COMPANY IS HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what happened to me on 1/3/18 at 8:50 AM. I should've known that this company was horrible from dealing with the rude Dispatcher hanging up quickly on people. I ordered the taxi and waited 10 minutes. Ok, the driver pulls up, I get in the cab and I say "Good morning" "I'm going to Newark Penn Station" next thing I knew this guy started screaming the highway is messed up. 'I'm not going to Newark Penn Station". So I remain calm and said go local then. He continued to scream while driving about going to Newark Penn so I decided I had enough and called the Dispatcher back and explained what was occurring. The Dispatcher told me to "tell him to take you there" and I said "I did" and then the Dispatcher radiod the driver and they both started speaking (Haitian language). The driver then turned the car around and drove me right back in front in of my building and said "Get the F out" . I gave that ignorant idiot a a piece of my mind lets just say he changed his tune immediately and drove me to Newark Penn and to tried to offer up all these excuses of why he acted the way he did prior, no bueno. That was the worst experience of my life with a driver and now I am looking into monthly parking and not dealing or giving my hard earned monies to these deplorable rude ignorant guys. Gave us very little information on the phone, showed up, got us to the airport despite running red lights and passing people by driving into oncoming traffic, all and all typical sketchy but okay cab ride. But, the cab charged us $80 for a 15min ride even though they had a $35 flat rate. $35 per person in cab is absolutely ludicrous. Feeling very ripped off. read more

My vehicle broke down on my way to work. Not a good way to start the day. I am 35 miles from home, stuck in a parking lot. Not knowing anyone in the area, I called Jacob's taxi to get a ride to work. The dispatcher was very nice and told me my ride would be there in a couple of minutes, even after I explained I had a debit card and $2 cash in my pocket. It was 5 minutes or less when the car showed up. The driver's name was Moses, a really nice guy. Jacobs Taxi got me to work and there was NO CHARGE for the ride!! I would recommend Jacobs taxi for sure. Thank you for making an unfortunate situation much less stressful! If I get into this position again, I will definately call Jacob's Taxi. read more

This cab service was a terrible experience. I attempted to order a cab and was told that my address didn't exist. Hello! I'm at my address and I'm telling you it's here. I even went onto google verify it and give me that specific address keystroke for keystroke and his response was "please verify and call me back when you know". He then hung up on me. What a terrible way to gain any customers. I would say not to waste your time with them. read more
