She racially profiled us -- showing nothing but micro aggressions. My cousin went to order drinks and was told the bar was closed, but two men came approx. 10mins later and were sitting at the bar with their drinks they ordered. Misty lied, I can't help but think it's because we are Black. She wasn't welcoming at all. I observed her 4 different times staring at us while we were bowling. Two of my family members went to order drinks (after they noticed the guys at the bar) and got questioned by Misty about what we were doing in our section. We were bowling, yet, she assumed we were doing something wrong/inappropriate. She stereotyped us from the moment we walked in. Misty had someone from the front desk end our bowling game before the 1hr. mark (paid for). When questioned she rudely said, "this is private property, we close when we want." She proceeded to turn on the lights and clean around us. She came to our area grabbing a plate of food, which we weren't finished with. Some of my family members stopped her because they (we) were still eating. She was picking up stuff without communicating with us first. As stated, she claimed they were closing, although, their hours showed close time at 12am on Sat.'s. Two of my cousins went to the front and spoke with a guy (guessing he was the manager on duty) explaining the situation with our game and he kindly added back time for us to finish our game. Once the game ended, as we're preparing to leave, Misty is over by the bar loudly saying disrespectful words to our party. The final straw was when she said, "don't come back again!" Very impolite. We had children with us and she showed no respect. Nothing warranted her disgusting behavior, which causes me to strongly believe it was racially motivated. When my sister addressed Misty and expressed her disappointment to the guy (guessing manager on duty) he did nothing. Based on my family and I's experience, this isn't a place that welcomes Black people. Don't go here!! Horrible environment with watered down alcoholic beverages.

Thankfully, Spare Time Lanes is a friendly, family owned business where you can enjoy a few games of bowling, and have some really good pizza. Located in the former Kennett Lanes (Ken-Lanes) on St. Francis Street (State Route 84), Spare Time has 12 lanes. Currently, they are using wooden approaches and lanes, but may switch to modern synthetics in the future.
