I realized Richard never even asked my mom for her routing or account numbers. My parents are not fluent in English, so if I hadn't been there to catch this, they could have missed the IRS deadline entirely. Richard stated that customers can come back anytime with any problem or question because they are open almost every day, not just during tax season like some others. However, the mistake I mentioned above makes it feel like they create problems themselves just to show they can fix them. Additionally, my mom is rarely critical of others, but even she mentioned how incredibly slow the typing was. While we don't expect a "pro" typist, the speed was well below average. There no appointment necessary, but initially when I came in to see Trung Lê in 2022, he gave me a time. Last year I found out my brother's been scanning his docs in and doesn't even come into the office, so I did that, but noticed it took longer and because they're so busy, I didn't get any confirmation that the docs were received and it took like 2 months to get my taxes done anyway I felt better about just coming in person and waiting to get it done same day. Called today and as told they don't take appointments so I've been waiting for 30 minutes now. There's a sign in list when you come through the door. They charge a lot less than other accountants have had file my easy peasy taxe scenario. Recommend if you wanna save money on filing.
