Out with the red brick fireplace, the wall-to-wall carpet, the farmhouse style crossed boards on the walls. In with fully finished laundry room with shelves and cupboards, fully finished and modernized bathroom, tile flooring and new paint throughout. Sought out JGL Construction for its advertised free estimate. Interior Team Manager Christine Lee gave us a reasonable price for the job, and estimated it would take 3 weeks to complete. My wife and I had a good laugh over that timeline, having dealt with contractors on other jobs. But it actually took exactly 3 weeks! Christine was here every day to ensure the sub-contractors were completing each stage of the job on schedule and with attention to detail. She also encouraged them to add custom touches, like crafting wood wrap-arounds to replace the cheap plastic at the top of the new window blinds. We highly recommend JGL Construction for any interior work. They really strive to make the customer happy!

After trusting Miller's flooring for several past projects, I decided to let this company handle a…read morebig project in my house, i.e. putting on hardwood floors in the whole house and redoing the fireplace with the installation of tiles. I wished I trusted somebody else for this big project... at the beginning it should have been a three-days labor project but it turned out to be a SIX-WEEKS one!!! The whole project was poorly managed, the owner Mr. Miller came himself to take measures for ordering the materials no need to say that we lost a week due to a lack of materials supply (what a way to do the job...). One of the contractors ripped a wall while removing the baseboard, I had to pay for the repairs!!! Miller's flooring did not want to hear about that. To put it in a nutshell, this was an horrible experience with absolutely no communication from the company. A contractor came one day to the house and did not even know what he was supposed to do!!! What is that supposed to mean... I will let the reader of this review make his or her own mind. In the end, the project is not even finished but I still had to pay a full bill despite all the drawbacks and problems created by this company. For the readers courageous enough to be at this part of the review, I urge you not to trust this company for any project in your house. You will for sure find better and cheaper elsewhere.
