******UPDATE******…read more 10-26-16 I ABSOLUTELY MUST change my star review, from 2 stars, to one star (and that's ONLY because the pond IS beautiful, despite the drama I continue to endure with it). So remember when I mentioned the fried transformer box, after only 1 YEAR? I mentioned to Noah immediately, because I had no working pond lights and no working path lights. I questioned why this would have burned out so quickly, Noah responded "this is typical for these transformers to go out in about a year's time", and said that they could come out and replace the box for a $120 service charge, which I declined. At that time, I wasn't sure I wanted to take a chance on another NON-AQUASCAPES transformer box install (yes, that's what I said). I honestly don't think AC thought I'd be smart enough to recognize that it WASN'T an Aquascapes product, so If I'd agreed to a service call, I'd just have set myself up for future service calls, which means more $$$. I declined the offer and told Noah that I wanted to try and find a transformer with a far better rating and reliability, and left things at that. I found a really good transformer box on Amazon, had it installed by a contractor, but the lights (both in the pond, as well as the path lights) STILL DIDN'T WORK! So, my husband and I decide to contact another pond/watergarden company (with a FAR MORE SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER RATING), to ask for advice and assistance. And when a representative from the company came to our home, GUESS WHAT ELSE WE LEARNED???? My husband was finally taught the PROPER installation placement of the filter basket (the flow rate wasn't set correctly, so whenever we attempted to clean the filter and replace the basket, the water quickly dissipated, exposing the pump underneath). We traced the pond lighting system, came across the first bundle of wires. And much to our surprise/shock, we discovered that the wire bundle consisted of "RED INDOOR ELECTRICAL CAPS" pigtailed with electrical wire. And for an "outer protective coating" these were wrapped in electrical tape. Upon removal of electrical tape and removal of red caps, moisture was detected inside the cap well (Hmmm, I wonder why my lights didn't work??) If the transformer box hadn't blown too early in its life, I wonder how long it would have been, from the buildup inside the caps, before the lights would have burned out again? We also learned that Aquatic Creations "builds their ponds up", and while doing this, installed the lighting system inside the pond. Problem now is, if any lights EVER need replacing, the ENTIRE SYSTEM has to be ripped out and REPLACED by ANYONE coming in afterwards, to do the work. YOU GUESSED IT...MORE $$$. Bottom line: $200 for a block of instruction on pond and pump care. $10 for proper MOISTURE FREE OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL CAPS (the BIG BLUE ONES THAT SAY WATERPROOF ON THE FRONT). And now, my husband will spend several hours, in the cold and rain, retracing and rebundling what SHOULD have been installed correctly the FIRST TIME. And with this, my worst fears were realized in knowing the amount we paid overall for professionalism and quality were not justified in the end. Here we are a year later, STILL dealing with issues. SHAME ON YOU AQUATIC CREATIONS! HAPPY VETERANS DAY EVERYONE!!!!!

Our pond was beautifully designed with a 3 tier waterfall, landscape lighting and aquatic plants. Our children love feeding the fish and sticking their toes in the water for the fish to nibble on. Everyone that comes to visit loves sitting by it listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall. It has become our entertaining spot! We highly recommend anyone that is looking for a water feature to contact Noah..since he does know water!
