Got duped on my repair …read more. I called them a few weeks back to fix a spa (Jacuzzi) that I own. I was out of town (it's a rental property) and they charged $125 to diagnose the issue. It was reported to be a power issue, since breaker was blowing. The tech had some "guy" that would fix the power issue (replace the breaker) and charged me $150 cash. He called back and said it was still not working and reported to be a bad board. Sent a quote for over $500 to replace (Already paid $150 to the electrician "guy" and $125 to go out). I had another company go out and replace the circulation pump for $225. They diagnosed it wrong and wouldn't pay back the $125. The $150 cash I paid to the techs buddy was useless I'm sure. It kept blowing due to the circulation pump. All I asked for was the $125 back because it was diagnosed wrong. I was very polite about it and gave them a week to get back to me. They refused. Every hot tub breaks, every tub needs work .. if you buy from these guys and spend thousands for a tub, beware about the repairs. I recommend SPA MEDIA in Loudoun County for repairs. Honest, quick, and what he says is accurate. Very disappointed.

I usually brought in samples and purchased chemicals to treat my pool based on those results and then brought in another sample to verify. They do offer to do the whole deal, cleaning and maintenance and addition. Not sure the pricing on that but their chemical pricing was pretty standard. They sell pool drink floaties and stuff like that as well but nothing that looks like it'll really float !

I honestly don't know why this family owned business has only three stars. I have read some of the…read morenegative comments that they're so far out and unable to put a pool in, in a timeframe that a perspective client may want. To me that's not worthy of bad star ratings I can tell you from my perspective this family and the people that work for them are great to work with. We went and talked to them got a quote for a pool last year put a nonrefundable thousand dollar deposit down because we knew we wanted a pool and was not supposed to have started the dig until August 2024 ( this year ), because we put a deposit down a few people in line dropped off to wait, which bumped us up and our pool was started in November 2023 and completed a month later. From the time they started digging until the end of this season, they have been nothing but helpful. Anytime I have water issues. I take a water sample in and both Jane or Amber will look at it and guide me on what needs to be added. Anybody that is looking to have a pool put in needs to give them a chance keep in mind they're a small company so they have a set of guys that work on a pool so there is a waiting period but they are very much worth the wait.
