This place knows how to do a proper salad. I got one with arugula, goat cheese, and roasted beets and it was packed with flavor. Loved how everything tasted fresh and the textures worked well together. The dressing was a light citrus blend that didn't overpower anything. Service was friendly and the vibe inside was relaxed and calm. A solid spot for a light and tasty lunch.

    Really awful Rueben.

ust awful. Reuben was served on whole wheat instead of the marbled rye as indicated on the menu. The cheese is white processed American and not Swiss. The corned beef is also highly industrial processed, poor quality, chopped, and the only flavor is salt. The fries were stale and not battered as indicated on the menu. Pickle was good though. The servers were quick and quite nice. TLDR: Food quality continues to go down since the relocation.

Hot hamburger topped with mash (and Guinness gravy)

It had been a LONG time since we visited J Farley's, like honestly maybe October 2019. It's a fun little spot and the food is pretty consistent. Service is always great and they have a nice variety of local brews on tap. We stopped in Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The Irish Tacos are a must to order. Really interesting in a great way. This time, I felt indulgent and ordered the hot hamburger. Please note that this behemoth of a dish comes with two patties and two large scoops of mashed potatoes. (You can also sub in beer battered fries if you like.) It's all covered with that fabulous Guinness gravy. (I've said it before, just give me a straw for that gravy...it's that good.) It was a LOT of food. The only downfall for me (beside the huge quantity) was the amount of raw onions sprinkled in the dish. I thing sauted onions would be better. Anywhoo, be aware if raw onions aren't your thing.

Bacon and Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich with sidewinders

Came here for bingo but got a very full belly too! We came in on a Tuesday night to try and win big with bingo, seriously it was so fun!! Sweet tea was great and you got to keep your cup! I ordered the bacon avocado grilled cheese with sidewinders and all was so so good. The sandwich was perfect, great flavor balance. The sidewinders were crisp and a solid hybrid between a curly fry and wedge. They were short staffed so that was a little challenging. But the heart and story behind this place is really special! Go check it out.

Parmesan crusted pepperjack grilled cheese and chili

This is such a great local place I wish I could give it a higher score, but it just doesn't deserve it. The local decor devoted to the firemen is great and the place was clean, so it has that going for it. The first time we visited I had the fish and chips, they were OK. Not bad but also nothing to yelp home about. This time I had the Cookstown Chicken and Cabbage. It had good flavor and I liked it, but it wasn't very hot and it wasn't plated well. Basically everything in the ingredient list is all the same color but it had pieces hanging off the edges of the plate and it needed some garnish; chives, fresh parsley, something to give it some plate appeal. They came with green beans which were also tasty but they too were cold. My wife had the chili and a Parmesan crusted pepperjack grilled cheese. She said the chili tasted like it had come out of a can and the grilled cheese was disappointing as well. Finally they service. Our waitress was a nice young lady but I had to ask for tea refills. To her credit, she figured out I must have been dehydrated and kept my glass full after my second refill request. The restaurant wasn't very busy and it seemed like it took longer than it should have to get our order placed and the wait for it to be served at our table. Normally a 2 star review would not warrant another visit but it is Claremore and real choices are limited so we will most likely visit them again on one of our trips back.

Fish and chips. Solid and tasty

I go here about once a week with a friend and we love it. Food is good and the beer is cold. What more could you ask for?

From a recent visit on Valentine's Day due to a spot having their kitchen close early (my pops was performing across the street so when they were done, we came over here), I'm glad we ended up eating here. We came in, got greeted instantly & even got a table the moment after we got greeted. I find it wild that we usually get seated by the stairs in the middle, not in a bad way, I really like that table & we end up there a majority of the time when it's just us two. I wish I remembered our server's name, she did an excellent job. I went with the Whiskey Burger & it was incredible. The wait on the food didn't take long at all. The whiskey chipotle BBQ sauce stole the show. The burger was perfect. The sweet potato fries went well with the burger, I got honey mustard as my dipping sauce. I was so hungry that I ran through my whole plate in a snap of a finger. I enjoyed that night, no complaints whatsoever. Side Note: The Olympics were going on & Curling was on the television on my right. I actually looked up how the sport takes place & I learned something new that night (outside of the fact that Curling always intrigued me).

We opted for this Irish themed pub last night for dinner, and can't say enough about the service, food and atmosphere. McNellie's (sounds Irish, right?) is located on one of the seemingly lonely streets near downtown, and came highly recommended by our hotel barista. The ambiance is definitely Irish-pub--dark wood, old wooden floors and walls of exposed brick--definitely a cool sanctuary from the oppressive summer heat and humidity. And what better way to quench your thirst and beer curiosity than choosing from hundreds of beers both on tap and bottled. For the local beer enthusiasts there is a Centennial club which rewards frequent imbibers with gifts leading up to the coveted pottery mug! Our server, McKayla--was delightful. She definitely enjoyed serving us, and offered recommendations good service and conversation. The summer salad caught my wife's eye, and she enjoyed the fresh mix of roasted pistachios, cheese, watermelon and mango. I jumped at the fish and chips, which I can honesty was the best I've ever had--topping what we had years ago at an English pub by a mile. McNellie's fish portion was large, and the batter was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was a little surprised with the small portion of chips (fries), as most establishments seem give you lot, but I guess I was thankful in a way. With some beer left in our glasses, we decided to order a plate of fries (white and sweet) for desert! If you like beer and good Irish comfort food, McNellie's is a sure bet!

It is a small and well run pub with a happy hour from 11 to 7 everyday. I didn't ask if anything else is discounted during happy hour, but domestic beer is $2.50. We sat at the bar and Katlin took good care of us. She told us all about the pub and the various activities they have. There's live music on Fridays, but as yet, no Celtic music. Maybe in the future. Monday is music bingo, Wednesday is Trivia night. Thursday is karaoke night. They have plans in the future for Saturday nights. The customers were very friendly and polite. Many seem to know each other. A man showed up and was loudly greeted by his friends. This appears to be a Cheers type of pub where everyone knows your name and they're very glad you came. O'Brien's has a small menu of bar food. The cook didn't come in today, but Katlin was able to cook us up some dynamite wings. I noticed they have some speciality drinks which I look forward to trying. We look forward to our next visit.

I noticed a group of guys playing pool, and one was pointing at me and whispering. Two of the guys from the table immediately come over and start peppering me with small talk. I answer one to be nice and he immediately runs up to the bartender and starts cussing like he's about to fight me! He didn't want his sh** pushed in, so he pays and runs out the door and two of his friends immediately head towards my table. I tell everyone to back up and leave the place. I will NEVER go back and I'll be filing a report with the BBB. Worst bar in Tulsa hands down
